Finally got around to something that I've had planned for years; adding a very slight spring interpolation to the camera in order to make it a tiny bit smoother and more physical. Looks pretty damn good I think! (Sneak peak at the new Super Cylinder layout too)

There's also a better spring interpolation on the machine mesh itself, but that's a smaller change with less effect on the overall presentation from the player's perspective. It does make a pretty big difference with opponents nearby on the track, though!

$this is now a much more accurate representation of the space and it still holds that GPT-5.4 is a bit more explorative it's now based on kamada–kawai layout instead of the default spring layout, and there are much more nodes and edges than before (still need to optimize it tho) but it's not close to all nodes or edges in the neighborhood, still only a tiny fraction the fuzzball is very dense$

I've been talking about these real-time AI render layers for a few years now as an obvious next step for 3d, but seeing it unfolding (albeit still in the early stages), is pretty amazing. This is Krea's new model that transforms your input in near-realtime (I adjusted the slight offset a bit to make it more obvious here). I'll post an un-edited video in the replies.

I think it's a little bit of all of it. I have to make sure that there's environments that the ball finds him. I think he's got to make sure that he can't rely on that to get shots, as well. There were times, I think, when he was open on rolls or around the paint and his teammates got to get him the ball. I think it's a combination of all that. Four shots in a half on this stage is not acceptable."

I think that was a bit disappointing on our side because I think we know how to shut this down because we used to do these kinds of things and we couldn't do it today because, again, like I said, we forgot. I can go through the years, but between 2022 to 2024, we pretty much just made sure that everything was strat-based and we just charged people and hoped that we had better mechanics. Then around 2025, I think we took a look at the year and with how good Yoru was, we just tried to leverage the fact that Yoru could be everywhere on the map and we tried to make sure that we understood the game on a micro level a lot better. Maybe for all you know, it came back to bite us in the ass today. What we needed to do was win the fight and then [inaudible], and we used to be very good at that. So if the meta stays the same, I can promise you that we will be back to our best charging people." (via Manguitouu Sons of KS)

We don’t get to see too much from Tyler Loop, but I think he had a pretty decent outing at the Ravens’ open stadium practice earlier today. I think all three kicks were good, but the camera angle made it hard to tell. The first two attempts were definitely too close for comfort! I love that they iced him too. Coach Minter confirmed after practice that there was something on the line: 50 push-ups if he missed.
