What is HTTP Downgrading, why use it, and how does it work? HTTP/2 is default for most web apps these days, however, it's not uncommon for backend servers to still use HTTP/1.1 causing parsing mismatches between frontend and backend. And that's where HTTP downgrading comes in! But what is it? HTTP downgrading is the process of forcing a request to be processed under HTTP/1.1 instead of HTTP/2. This allows you to manipulate how the frontend and backend servers interpret requests and exploit vulnerabilities unique to HTTP/1.1 parsing such as Content-Length Transfer-Encoding (CL.TE) attacks. How to downgrade HTTP/2 to HTTP/1.1 using Burp Suite 1️⃣ Open Burp Suite and Navigate to Proxy → HTTP History 2️⃣ Locate the request that is currently using HTTP/2. 3️⃣ Send the Request to Repeater 4️⃣ In the Repeater tab, open the "Inspector" panel → Request Attributes → Protocol 5️⃣ Change HTTP Version to HTTP/1.1 6️⃣ Click "Send" in Repeater. If successful, you should receive a valid response, confirming the server accepts HTTP/1.1. And that's it! We made this free and open source app to help people take their very first steps with coding. It's been used a lot in middle schools, high schools, and online. It's part of the Godot docs' getting started series. I left it to rest for a while as we focused on building our curriculum and platforms. Now I'm working on it again to improve it incrementally. The next version drops in January and will improve clarity for lessons where newcomers struggle the most.

I just released a beta version of /dev/push. It's basically a (simpler) alternative to Vercel, Render, and the likes. You can log in with GitHub, pick a repo, configure your build and off you go. Whenever you push code to GitHub it will automatically deploy it for you. There's obviously more to it: environments, custom domains, environment variables, custom commands, teams... And I'm working on adding more: custom Docker containers, remote nodes, SQLite database, support for PHP, RoR... It's completely free and open source (MIT license). The online version is for now restricted as I test things up. Links below👇

Cursor now has a built-in web browser. You can say "start my app" and it will run the dev server in a terminal and then navigate the browser to localhost:3000. It can take screenshots of the page for iterating on design, and you can send DOM elements to the agent with prompts!

PulseX is so cool! For those of you that didn't know. PulseX is one of the most decentralized DEXs in existence. You can literally run it locally on your own machine and it's so simple to set up. Running it on your own machine makes it faster, more secure, safer, more censorship resistant and protects your privacy. There's no reason you should be using the web version when you have the desktop version available. I made a short video showing you how to download it. Happy #TolkienReadingDay! For TRD 2022 we released a retelling of The Forging of the Rings and after the positive feedback decided to start on a part 2. However, it never got completed and for 2 years it was left to the side. But 2 years later we have now put together a makeshift version of part 2 which is a retelling of 'Aldarion & Erendis' + 'The War of the Elves and Sauron' which includes some of your favourite Tolkien creators narrating! Though it is still incomplete with some narration missing, we are still very happy with the outcome and if you would like to see the completed final version then let us know!

That tiny USB-C blinking LED I'm working on for AI Agent status. Works pretty nicely. just have to improve the light diffusion a little bit. And fix the gamma. It's fully controllable. What would you use it for? * This one does not include the PCB yet. It was hacked together with LEDS and hidden wires under the Mac. I'm still waiting for the PCB prototypes to be assembled. The size will be almost exactly the same. I might change some rounding and use a different material to improve diffusion. Otherwise that's it. The SD Card slot version PCB are done and should be here in a couple of days. Can't wait to try it out.
