A group of Turning Point USA high schoolers here in Alabama got to their high school early and prayed for the nation. While the left encourages our youth to riot and ditch class, we as Christians encourage them to put their faith in God. It's the only way that we can build strong men and women, and it's the only way that we can save our country. I'm very proud that Alabama gets it.

Vivek Ramaswamy message to YouTube is actually a much more important message about Free Speech “This is a message for the leadership of YouTube — My understanding is in the last 24 hours, you locked the accounts and shut down the accounts of two guys, Nick Fuentes and Alex Jones. They have big followings on the American right. I think it's better if you just unlock those accounts and let the guys be heard. —The reason I'm asking you to do it is that censorship isn't good for America. It's antithetical to our culture, and we're the country on God's green Earth where we're able to talk to each other in the open I want to credit YouTube and Google and your parent company and so much of your competitors in Silicon Valley for creating the first instance of the free and open internet with search engines. It's a beautiful thing for democratizing speech. But I think we take a step in the wrong direction when we choke those same technologies that allow us to access open debate and open ideas. It breeds discontent. It breeds frustration. It actually breeds mistrust. If you tell people they can't speak, that's when they scream. And if you tell people they can't scream, that's when they tear things down. So I think pre- free speech is a precondition for peace. It's a precondition for the scientific method. I just released a beta version of /dev/push. It's basically a (simpler) alternative to Vercel, Render, and the likes. You can log in with GitHub, pick a repo, configure your build and off you go. Whenever you push code to GitHub it will automatically deploy it for you. There's obviously more to it: environments, custom domains, environment variables, custom commands, teams... And I'm working on adding more: custom Docker containers, remote nodes, SQLite database, support for PHP, RoR... It's completely free and open source (MIT license). The online version is for now restricted as I test things up. Links below👇

There's a new AI-native IDE out there named Aide, and there are four things I like about it: 1. It's open-source 2. It's proactive and suggests changes before you ask 3. It uses an intermediate layer between the editor and LLM 4. It's SOTA on the SWE-Bench benchmark I'm excited about #3 because this layer (called "Sidecar") will help people connect any model to the IDE. While this isn't possible right now, it's clearly the goal. Sidecar is also open-source. As I write this, the code agent behind Aide, "CodeStory Midwit Agent," is second in the Verified SWE-Bench leaderboard (it finished in 2024 in the first place.) This is a huge deal! If I'm gonna have an agent help me code, it might as well be the best of the best. The proactive aspect is also cool: the IDE provides suggestions to improve your code without you having to ask. I recorded a quick video showing you how Aide works. The team behind the IDE partnered with me on this video. Right now, it feels like *everyone* is building AI-powered coding tools. As a career developer, nothing excites me more than seeing how quickly we transform the development experience. And 2025 is just getting started!
