Scottie Scheffler was asked ahead of the Travelers Championship how he feels about the impact it’s had on the game: “Yeah, I think it's great for golf to become more mainstream. I think you see, especially since COVID, there's been a tremendous growth in the amount of people that are playing golf. “I think it's the greatest game in the world. You learn a lot about life. I met some of my best friends in the whole world playing golf. So for people getting involved in the sport I think is tremendous. “Like I said, getting to spend four hours with somebody outside hanging out playing a game is something that's pretty rare in the busyness I think that we live in today. 🫂💚I'm Walid and I love animals, especially #cats.🐈 Before this war, I spent years caring for stray cats in Gaza. I built a shelter for them and took sick cats to the vet. But about a year ago, when the bombs fell, my shelter was partly destroyed, and so many of the cats I cared for were killed. It broke my heart. Now, I’m doing what I can to help the cats who survived this war so far. Some are strays, but as the war continues, more and more are pets who lost their humans, their homes and safety. They roam the streets of North Gaza, hungry and scared, just like so many of us people. I’m also trying to rebuild what’s left of my shelter for the cats who did survive the bombing, but it’s not easy. I need food for the cats in my care and for the ones still out there. During the ceasefire, my friends and I ran the Cruelty-Free Kitchen. We served warm meals to thousands of families. During the ceasefire my friends and I started helping eight families who are living in tents, with no proper shelter or clean water. We also distribute water in our neighbourhood. Every day is a struggle, but we do what we can to share what little we have. Life in 💔#Gaza🇵🇸 is unimaginably hard, but I haven’t given up. I believe there are kind-hearted people out there who can help—people who care about animals and people, just like me and my friends. Playing Retro Rewind, I downloaded a bunch of old movie trailers off YouTube so I could have them playing on my video rental store TVs. (had to re-encode them so they work in the game and display properly) It makes the game 10x more immersive and cozy, it's wild how such a little change can transform the entire experience.

One distinct memory I have from playing games in the 80s was that every once in a while I would stumble across a game that looked epic but I had exactly zero clue what to do. Wizball was such a game. Looked and sounded pretty cool, but... "where to go, what to do, and what's the goal here?" - something along those lines went through my mind at the time. I stuck with it an eventually (much later) figured it out. Do you remember a game that you played but didn't really know what the goal was or how to get there?

lando's sweet message to all his fans ❤️ "just thanks for taking your time to come support me, to cheer me on. genuinely, like my motivation in my racing career was once i want what's best for me and i want to win. and over the years, it really turned a lot more into i want to win for you, for my team, my supporters, my friends. it's a much, much better motivation when externally people are there to support you and cheer you on. and it makes me much happier, the fact that i get to make other people have a good time and hopefully party on sunday nights and those kind of things. like the fact you can bring happiness and joy to others is way better than just trying to bring it to yourself. so the last few years i learned that a lot more and therefore i get to enjoy all of my experiences with you guys that are in papaya and in my yellow as well. it's so much more fun for me to get to share those experiences. and as much as i'm world champion, we're all world champions together because you supported me in that journey."

🦮: the real reason I wanted to volunteer at a dog shelter is that there are so many dogs and cats in the world without a family or home. So if you find out through this video and if you’re ready to adopt a pet then please look into it. Besides the shelter I visited today, there are a lot of shelters across Korea so if you are interested please look into it. But you have to be ready to have a pet! Seriously! As a person who has a dog too, I want you to adopt when you are fully prepared!

Kitten update #41: I learned a lot about the fundamental biological differences between boys and girls from my dogs. The kittens seem a little less dimorphic; I don't know if that will change as they grow but the differences between the boys and the girls seem way less pronounced. Maybe some of that is differences in the way they relate to us; like if girl dogs are generally more attentive, eager to please, and easier to train than boy dogs, maybe cats have some of the same differences but we don't notice because no cat is easy to train. Who knows about sex-based differences in cats and wants to educate me? Anyway, one thing that seems to be a universal constant is the way brothers are when they want attention right as you're getting into that perfect nap bliss state.

Some are spreading false news that I referred to people as dogs, which is completely untrue and misleading. All I meant was that when we move into a new house, it takes time to understand the surroundings and even the dogs in the area, their habits, and what they like to eat. I’m not such a heartless person as to call people dogs, whom I respect deeply and regard as equal to my mother. I was only talking about understanding a new environment takes time to get used to and did not refer to people anywhere. 🐥 (joy): when rei took a break, i really felt sorry. i felt empathy towards her. and anyone can go through it. all i can say 'so, it's okay rei.' that's why rei started to became bigger in my mind. whenever i see rei, she knows how to get close to people and open her heart as it is. as a reliable unnie to rei, i want to protect her pureness. i don't know much about joy but she really took in rei because she knows how hard it is in this industry especially being in hiatus... she's such a kind person :(
