🐶 10 years is long & short, now I feel like I've finally found my place. When I think about myself, it's not the position the public thinks I'm in, I think that I'm finally in a position where I can make music a little more stably.

here's another little tool i've been working on called "typoverse." i have thousands of fonts but i find myself always using the same ones. and i am simply not going to manually tag or categorize fonts either. so i built a tool that compares all my fonts to each other and maps them based on similarity. would this be useful to anyone?

I redesigned my personal website for the fourth time this year it finally feels truly personal; i've never been so thrilled about anything i've made. and that's all that matters ✧ ✧

Starmer: "I've spent too much time talking about what I'm doing for working people, and not enough time talking about why, or who I stand for" There you have it. They're going with, its a comms issue.

Dee: When I went on Survivor 45, all I kept thinking is my parents & my brother, my parents & my brother. This time around, I do think about them. But I also think about myself more. I don't think I've ever wanted something so bad for me. To be selfish in a way where like, what if I do this for me? Against the odds, every fucking odds stacked against me. And I can still win this game. Fuck it, I'm still gonna believe. #bb28

I've not spoken much about my deafness, but a caller on Radio Sheffield's 'Hot seat' programme asked about it & in this excerpt I discussed the impact of it on career and life; the situations I avoid and the embarrassment deafness causes.

“I think my fans are they happy that I'm able to express and share my personal stories. they understand more about me, and but also at the same time like "You you got to stop with this magic man.. it's been too dark, so I'm prepping the next album”

Rick Rubin describes how the same creative aesthetic is present in everything he does: “You're at Shangri-La and you walk through the space and you see it doesn't feel like other places you've been. It has the same aesthetic as the records I make, or the things that I work on, or things that I buy.” “It’s the same aesthetic. It’s all fitting into a [creative] worldview.” ——— And then Rick and I tied this to the same creative personality type you see in every field: David: “I've had my first podcast for a decade. And it started out just me reading biographies of people that build businesses. But over time I realized it’s the same personality type: The artist, the entrepreneur, the filmmaker, the musician. I've done podcasts on all of these kind of people and I don't see any distinction between them.” Rick: “It's the same. It’s the same. It's all the creative spirit.” “Most of what I do is not really about music. I happen to work in music but it's not about the music. Does that make sense?”

See this is what I'm talking about. I can respect this 100%. Aquib has always hated on Buffalo & 17 & what did he do after the game? Kept that same exact energy. No flip flopping. He's delusional as hell, but he didn't switch up.
