I’m now exploring the possibility that even though we may use the same grade of gas we normally do, that different gas stations have better gas than others. I always use 93 and I normally fill at the Marathon, on this tank I filled at the Circle K and I notice the gas mileage is worst even though it’s mostly highway miles. Is this something that’s widely known? I never thought of the possibility that it’s different but it does seem to be the case for me. It makes me wonder if it’s the brand of gas makes a difference like the grade of gas does. I would have thought it’s all the same but it’s looking like it’s not. Do you only go to a certain brand as well or do you feel this is all the same? With the gas prices being up a bit I think it’s worth looking into.

It's been stuck in my heart for several days now. I was on X and I wasn't very comfortable the other day when I opened it up and saw our fanclub fighting. Honestly, the comments from all sides were deleted, but I read them all. I feel like everyone has their own reasons; I understand why this person would think this way or why that person would think that way. But what I want to say is in the end, I'm not stressed, but I just feel like we are on the same side! We are in the same team, please don't worry. And when you guys fight, I'm begging you, let's just be happy together instead, because we're already on the same team. I wanted to tell everyone that seeing you guys fight amongst yourselves makes me uneasy. We're people on the same side, yet.. and actually, I find it kind of funny. I feel like fans fighting is just like a couple fighting. It's like, 'Why didn't you do that?' or 'Why didn't I do this?' and things like that. I feel that some people might feel bad, and I apologise if this is a sensitive issue. But I feel it's actually something quite cute, because in the end, everyone just wants to push and support (us). Am I right? And how do you balance that? Lewis: I feel like we're going in the right direction. Rome wasn't built in one day, so it takes time to build. For me, coming into the team, I wanted to be respectful of the way they've done things in the past and just to really observe and see where our strengths and where our weaknesses are and to highlight where our weaknesses are and areas that we need to work on. But I do feel that they've been responding. I think you're starting to see, hopefully, some of the impact of the work that we're doing in the background and also into next year's car. This is a car that I've had nothing to do with in terms of developing this car over the years. Hopefully, from next year, my input goes into that car, and that will be a car that I've hopefully been a part of or will have been a part of developing. But I think we've got a really great rapport. I think we're really progressing, particularly since the summer break. I think things have started to get better, and it's all just about building trust and communication. Also, I'm coming into a team that English is not the first language, and I don't speak Italian, so it's finding a common ground. And the fact is we all want to win. We're all here to achieve the same thing, and we've got to just keep pushing. So that's why I'm trying to keep everyone motivated on difficult weekends, trying to keep everyone lifted up. But there have been many, many things we've changed this year that I suggested that they hadn't done in the past, and so they have been listening. It doesn't change straight away, just like that. It takes time to build. And as engineers, they really need proof. They need numbers. That's what they work on. Primarily because with open source you can see the source code of the model. Here we can't see inside the model, it's often called open weights instead of open source to kind of distinguish that. But a lot of the benefits, which is that many people can work on it and that it's kind of additive, don't quite work in the same way. So I've actually always seen it as a red herring. When I see a new model come out I don't care whether it's open source or not. If we talk about Deep Seek I don't think it mattered that Deep Seek is open source. I think I ask, is it a good model? Is it better than us at the things that matter? That's the only thing that I care about. It actually doesn't matter either way. Because ultimately you have to host it on the cloud. The people who host it on the cloud do inference. These are big models, they're hard to do inference on. When I think about competition I think about which models are good at the tasks that we do.
