Hearing TK Kirkland speak on Drake got me thinking: Why is it that non-aggressive Black men are often seen as “corny”? He said more young people should follow Drake’s path—he’s winning without pushing violence. He also pointed out how this culture flips Drake’s lack of aggressiveness into a negative. We see this daily, echoed by many—is this the agenda being pushed? We’re lost🤷🏽‍♀️. Maybe the industry is trying to phase him out because he’s not glorifying killing in his lyrics. And that matters.
