Joe Rogan drops a bombshell theory about why Barack Obama pushed the “Fine People” hoax to try and get Kamala Harris elected. Rogan says Obama “must know” that “fine people on both sides” was a hoax, yet he pushed it anyway. Why? Once Rogan laid out his theory, he admitted he would push the “Fine People” hoax, too, if he were in Obama’s position. ROGAN: “Why would you sacrifice [your stature and integrity] for someone who just probably wasn’t gonna win anyway?” JEFF DYE: “I don’t know if it’s money or if it’s some sort of oath or if it’s intentional, but that stuff’s so dangerous… that shortening of what someone said, taking it out of context.” ROGAN: “I think there’s also the consequences of people going to trial for that Russiagate stuff because I think that Russiagate collusion hoax that they perpetrated on mainstream media for years, and a lot of people are really uncomfortable with even saying it was a hoax. “No, it was a hoax, ladies and gentlemen. It was a hoax. And a lot of people coordinated that hoax. And there were a lot of people involved, and I think they’re super sketched out about Trump being president again and possibly digging into that stuff. And he’s doing that now. “And you’re finding real evidence that… the intelligence agencies… it seems like they also meddle, and not just meddle but completely try to sabotage someone and paint them out in a way that’s completely inaccurate, knowingly, with taxpayer dollars funding it all.” JEFF DYE: “‘For the greater good.’ For their greater good.” ROGAN: “Bro. I might say ‘very fine people,’ too, if I was doing that kind of stuff. Say whatever. ‘He’s a f*cking Nazi.’ ‘He’s Hitler.’ Let’s say whatever the f*ck—keep him out of office.”

I really, really, really wanted to drop this song last year. When I first put out the snippet, I was so excited - but it was hard to finish it on time because everything was a blur. I was sick and weak and nauseous and tired and my body just wouldn't do what I wanted it to. Even in the snippet video, I wasn't feeling great. I was just trying my best. I adore Chike's voice and I knew it was him that had to be on the song with me. When I asked him to give me a verse, he was so ready to go, but he was out of town. As soon as he came back, he came over to my studio the next day 🥹. I got a lotta respect for him. He didn't know I was pregnant and suffering 😅 Watching this video back now, I can't even understand where the energy came from. When the song was done, I struggled to mix it. Even so, I decided to master it myself. I hate mastering, so I don't know what I thinking. I was so disappointed that I couldn't meet the deadline. Everyone had fallen in love with the song and was asking me to put it out. I didn't have the energy to make content. I don't even remember them recording this video. Given how much I love this song, I'm a little bummed I couldn't give it energy it deserves. But please, know that a lot of love and resilience went into this song. I hope that you can let less be more for this one. I hope you can give it the energy that I couldn't. That I can't. PS: This is a chance for those of you that say I gave up my career for marriage to fight(?) for my uhm...rights? That or stfu. WHERE YOU DEY > Simi ft Chiké out everywhere now 🩵🩵 produced by Niphkeys mixed/mastered by Simi

Restaurateur Jeff Zalaznick says the "most iconic sign in fine dining" only exists because an angry former tenant shattered the original out of spite: “The sign is a crazy story.” “We'd been looking for a space for Carbone for over a year.” “One day a guy came up to me and said, ‘I think I have a space you might be interested in.’” “As we're walking up the block, I look at him and say, ‘We'll take it.’ Just from seeing the sign.” “The place is a mess. It hasn't been maintained in years. There's some old Italian guy in the corner smoking cigarettes that's been there not paying rent for six months.” “We put in the lease that we needed the sign. The sign had to stay. It didn't seem like a big ask.” “It's this old sign that says ‘Rocco Wines & Liquor.’” “Right before we were going to execute it, I get a phone call that the owner wants $10,000 for the sign to keep it there.” “Even though we gave him the money, in classic New York fashion, he was so angry that he was being removed, even though he hadn't paid rent in close to a year.” “When I show up on January 1st, there's shattered glass. All the neon had been shattered by him as like a ‘fuck you’ on the way out.” “After a few minutes, I'm like, I think this guy gave me the biggest gift he could have given me.” “We're going to keep this sign and instead we're going to put ‘Carbone’ in neon on top of the Rocco sign and put back the Wines and Liquor.” “And that became what is probably the most iconic sign in fine dining restaurants in the world.” “Only because he broke all those lights did it become the quintessential Carbone sign that it is.”
