.fabric for me as a DJ, is home. I have been playing this iconic venue for well over 15 years now and every time is like the 1st ever time. For me there is no better place to hear me play in my truest form. I have such a deep love for the place and it re-energises me so much. AND…to top it all off, it was packed and room 1 was electric with energy. Wow! Pure love…this is why we do it, to unite under the lights to the rhythm of the beat! Anyone is welcome! I love you all ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The main thing that stuck out to me and that I liked seeing at the time was they were doing more traditional metal. I liked the mick style of melting it all with a synth but it was a nice change of gears. First time playing I grooved out to ancestral beast for a good 5 minutes.

Anne Lamott coined “shitty first drafts” in her book, Bird by Bird, where you “let it romp all over the place, knowing that no one is going to see it and that you can shape it later.” So, how do you shape it? You take it through three drafts: 1) The child's draft / shitty first draft: be firm but friendly. "I like this. I like your description, but we're going to maybe use it somewhere else." 2) The adult draft: you take out, you fix, you find the stronger verbs. 3) The dental draft: "You go twos by twos. You wiggle and jiggly floss. Some teeth might need a little attention. Some teeth are fine. You go on to the next one, and that's really what good writing is." Great writing rarely emerges on the first pass. It’s an iterative process where you get it all on the page, remove and strengthen, and then tweak the details to end up with a great piece. Jaylen Brown says he didn’t like that the Boston Celtics didn’t tell him why he was being traded. “I wasn’t thrilled with how the conversation was facilitated. I did feel like it was a lack of respect. At one point it was fine, and then out of nowhere it just went left. I definitely think there’s more to it. There definitely is more to it. I know Brad is getting a lot of criticism, but I just wish more of it could have been explained. I just wish they had the respect to tell me exactly what it was, and I would have understood and respected that… Some of the guys have already reached out from the Celtics, some of the young guys, so I appreciate them… The guys I was able to build with, those guys who reached out to me, all told me, ‘It was a pleasure to play with you, and I appreciate everything that you helped me with,’ so that’s the stuff that gives you more motivation to keep going.”
