12.6.3 finally picked a route I've been trying to get it to go through all this time. It also sometimes seem to ignore the navigation suggestions. I had a disengagement last night because it tried to go back on the highway right after we just exited the highway. A bit wonky, some good, but a number of regressions and issues. IMHO, 12.6.2 was better in stability. 12.6.3 seems to be trying to do things better, but in doing so, sometimes screws up.

imteresting, i’ve seen it a lot more on 12.6.3 where FSD abandons nav and goes where it sees fitting (which can be beneficial in some situations) wonder why it chose to do so here though.

FSD V14.3.3 Bug (feature?) You can no longer start FSD with the steering wheel button - you have to press on the screen. Once you’re in drive you can tap the button on the steering wheel to engage FSD though. Not sure if this is intentional or not? Tesla AI

Here is my first drive on FSD V14.1.7 (with commentary). No interventions the entire drive. Overall, no major issues. It does feel a little smoother than 14.1.4. Mad Max Mode also seems to have a slightly lower top speed on the highway, and drives more comfortably, which is good. Looking forward to V14.2! 4K version in thread below.

Just downloaded Tesla Full Self-Driving 12.4.3 and recorded my first drive. Another flawless FSD experience. Impressive start of this drive in a congested area of Beverly Hills. Keeps on getting smoother.

Posting for visibility— I’ve seen this issue pop up on other forums In the latest update, my truck’s drivetrain pulses and jabs the accelerator while maintaining a constant highway speed AND while battery preconditioning. It feels like an engine stuttering or misfiring. Kinda concerning lol Happens on both FSD and manual driving. Guessing this will be patched soon, but if it’s not known— now it is. Anyone else experiencing this?

My #1 reason for disengaging FSD is I want to go a slightly different route but there’s no good way to do it. -Dropping a pin adds it as a stop. -Grok will sort of do it but add a stop. FSD disengagements are always navigational at this point. Ashok Elluswamy Elon Musk Tesla
