Our students shouldn't be terrified of just walking into their schools. HB836 makes it clear that no child will be denied a free public education because of citizenship status. Public schools exist to educate our children, not to police our families. Schools should be safe places where kids can focus on learning, growing, and building their futures, not places where families fear deportation. Together we are guaranteeing every child in Virginia the right to an education. 📚

There are no negative consequences to voting NO on Amendment 3. Everything in Florida will stay the same – and the state legislature and your local officials are still able to change policies as needed, because updating legislation is much easier than changing a constitutional amendment. But as Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis warns: the consequences of voting yes on Amendment 3 would be fatal. Amendment 3 would empower the black market and dangerous drug dealers, exacerbating the issues with illicit drugs we already see in Florida. We saw it happen in Colorado and California.
