I had to turn my phone all the way up just to hear a rumble of the background noise. I think so far so good! A moving blanket/sound blanket against the door after you close it might do wonders too. I only have one door (lucky you) but having the blanket helps so much.

Yep! Tons of insulation, double drywall hung on resilient channel to decouple is from the studs.
