First time PC user can’t work a computer, 1995

Nearly 30 yrs later the printer is still the most problematic piece of machinery on the planet

Around 2010 it seemed like the knowledge gap was closing and everyone was finally getting connected and understanding computers and the internet, then mobile devices came out and ruined it. It's hard to even find qualified workers under the age of 25 who know how to operate the basics of a PC, they know mobile phones and thats about it.

Watching someone in 1995 struggle with their first PC is like watching a caveman discover fire. “What do you mean, I have to double-click?”

This was a great time to be alive
