10 drives in with FSD v14.1 and here are all my thoughts. First of all- wow. Zero disengagements or interventions thus far. The confidence and overall human like driving is next level. The steering inputs are so smooth, braking inputs are earlier and more linear than before. It gives off Robotaxi vibes with how it navigates parking lots, plus how it drives and how quickly it backs into a parking spot. Such a nice experience to ride along with it. Seeing FSD now navigate parking garages is so cool. When you enter it waits for the arm to open after you get your ticket, proceeds in and finds a parking space. When you leave it does the same thing, gets close to the ticket stand and then proceeds. Really fascinating to see in person. It really sometimes feels like FSD can now read signs in the garage to guide it to the exit. Brought it to the back corner of a garage and it found its way out. Hurry mode is awesome, quick and more assertive than before, while also being smoother with less unnecessary lane changes. Sloth mode is what you’d expect- exact speed limit and gentle driving. Icons are cool and easy to change. When you start FSD from park, there’s no delay. It starts right away and leaves in a split second. Really good improvement. I love being able to select the Arrival Options if I am parking curbside or in a charger, it also automatically chooses depending on where you navigate to. It perfectly parks at Superchargers, tried it at the Tesla Diner and at the Santa Monica supercharger and both times it was excellent. Always centered in the lines and it parks better and quicker than the majority of humans do. Only thing so far to note is one instance of slight braking when going around a bus blocking a lane, was probably not even 1/2 of a second and dropped 1-2mph but felt it. Super super minor. Had FSD v14 move over for construction, a loose cone on a dark road, and obey a worker holding a stop sign. All of them were smooth and felt human like or better. It pulls in and out of my driveway great, doesn’t hesitate at all as well as when at chargers. Everything has a quicker response time. Curbside is cool too as it pulls right up against the curb perfectly in a parking spot. This release now means now 100% of your driving can now be done on FSD. From your driveway into a parking garage. Elon was right when he said it would feel sentient, and this isn’t even v14.2 yet. The Tesla AI team COOKED with this update. It’s phenomenal. Huge congrats to them for such an epic release. This is a HUGE update and I can’t wait to drive it more. It’s now 5am so I’m going to attempt to get some sleep, but tons more driving and videos coming later today as soon as I can. Thanks everyone for following along.

In my experience, V14.3.3 is the worst parking version of FSD since parking was introduced to the stack (V14.1). In this clip, you can see that FSD has everything going for it. The new charging map is there, the open spot is as clear as day. As FSD begins its reverse, it straddles two spots, one of which is not a supercharging spot. It was gunning (very poorly) for the spot that wasn’t even a supercharger spot before I took over. I’ve been having it do stuff like this, attempt to back into spots with crossed lines that clearly aren’t parking spots, etc. don’t remember having this bad of an experience on any other 14 build

First drive done with FSD v12.6.4 on my AI3 Model 3 and it went great. Very similar behavior to Cybertruck actually. Zero disengagement, zero intervention drive on a very similar drive that I just did in CT. Went from Century City to the Santa Monica supercharger on the same route almost back to back with the two. They fixed the small issue with the turn signal coming on too early, as well as it now has earlier lane changes. Very similar to the Cybertruck drive I just did with v13.2.8. It even avoided a van that almost sideswiped me in a turn, smoothly and swiftly. AI3 is getting crazy good, such a smooth drive. You can really tell it wants to back into a parking spot, but can’t yet. It swings out and all you have to do is reverse into it. So far, really good update. Feels like a more polished v12.6.3 which was already very good. Great work Tesla AI team!

FSD V14.2.2.4 Cutting Through a Gas Station Parking Lot? I don't think I've ever seen FSD drive like this before, but on my drive this morning it happened twice in a row. Rather than proceed to the stop light, it cut into a gas station and drove through the parking lot, then did the same at the next intersection. Afterward, it pulled into a parking lot with "Do Not Enter" signs at the entrance and parked in a stall. The real issue is that I was navigating to a Tesla Supercharger nowhere near that parking lot.

FSD v14 Lite first impressions - very positive and it feels like a huge step forward for HW3. but there’s still room for improvement. It’s noticeably smoother than 12.6.4, and parking and unparking is impressive - the car can finally reverse in FSD! The updated UI make the experience feel much closer to what AI4 owners have. It’s not perfect yet. There were still a few hesitations and moments where it was overly cautious, like on an advance left turn signal where it hesitated several times in the intersection, as if it was unsure it was allowed to go with oncoming traffic waiting. Parking and unparking was impressive because it’s a brand new feature for HW3, but it wasn’t perfect. In one attempt it pulled nose in about 95% of the way, then just sat there for ~15 seconds before it backed up tried again, this time successfully. Another time it parked exactly in the middle of two spots after driving by numerous open soots. I did have one disengagement and it was navigation related - it could not find the Uptown Supercharger in Victoria. It’s not the easiest Supercharger to find in underground parking (IYKYK), and the navigation (blue line) ended well before the Supercharger itself, so it drove straight by. It circled the parking lot and had to go around the block to try again, but it did the exact same thing so I had to disengage. Maybe a Tesla Charging site map would’ve helped. There was also one intervention while waiting to turn right on a red light. The car did not move for several seconds after it was clear and I had to push the accelerator as there were people behind me getting impatient. But there was one mind blowing moment though. It recognized my home as a charger, so I selected that as the parking option. It backed in and placed the car perfectly between the edge of the driveway and a camping trailer on the other side - maybe six inches on either side. I literally could not have parked it better. Looking forward to putting in more time behind the wheel and seeing how it improves with future updates. 8 drives in with FSD v14.1.2 and here are my thoughts: First off, Mad Max mode is AMAZING in traffic. Drove down to Hawthorne on my first drive in rush hour and it cut through traffic so well. An hour drive without any human input was great. The other Speed Profiles seem like they make slightly more difference than before. Standard is perfect on city streets, hurry is a bit quicker and the lane changes are more assertive than v14.1.1. Mad Max is a bit quick at times on city streets with nobody around, as expected. The assertive lane changes are my second favorite change, after mad max. It doesn’t wait around a bit like v14.1 and v14.1.1, it commits and sends it if safe, love it. I have NOT really seen any brake stutter yet, seems gone so far. I saw one instance of slight steering wheel shaking but that’s it over the last few hours. Few things to note with Mad Max. It’s fast, but it’s very safe. It’s not going to cut people off- it makes great decisions and they’re clearly calculated. It is NOT like the Altima with a missing bumper you see flying through traffic, it’s very controlled and I love it. This is exactly what we needed for LA and it’s almost how I like to drive through traffic and how you have to drive through LA. Lane changes in each profile seem improved in this build too. Definitely noticeably better and more confident. With parking garages, I’m seeing good performance, but to note- 1 of 4 garage attempts so far it went further from the ticket booth than it used to. Feels like maybe .1 had better lot performance, but I’m going to a lot of driving tonight to make sure. It definitely obeys no right on red signs, I’ve seen it listen to every single one perfectly so far, even obscure signs. It moves over for lane splitting motorcycles well before I can see them- this increases safety for everyone especially the motorcyclists and they appreciate it. A couple of them have waved at me tonight alone to thank me. Moved over for the two construction zones I have encountered thus far, and slowed down. Standard seems like the Goldilocks profile when on city streets with no traffic to follow- doesn’t speed much and usually travels at the perfect speed. Mad max is fast when nobody around- but really good speed control when there’s cars on the road. When you enable FSD from park, I love how quickly it gets going. If it’s safe, it goes right away, feels like it’s always waiting and ready to go. Pretty awesome improvement over v13 and continually impresses me. Autosteer and TACC are back, will get some miles accumulated on autosteer for those wondering if it’s changed at all, but I don’t think it has much if it did. Here’s a 15 minute zero intervention drive just now from Santa Monica supercharger to Rodeo Drive, where it obeyed a one way sign to the little parking lot and went the next entrance in once it saw. I’m going to drive this more through the night, and then will take it out during rush hour a lot. Huge shoutout to Tesla AI teams for getting these releases out so quickly. They’re making magic happen. More to come, but I’m loving what I’m seeing!

Tesla FSD V14.3 first drive impressions: • Highway follow distance is more comfortable • Quicker take off from stop signs after coming to a complete stop • Highway lane change hesitation from previous versions seems gone for me • The navigation routes it takes are still sometimes confusing • It understood detour signs correctly on its way to a Supercharger, but got confused after with how to navigate to the Supercharger. It eventually figured it out. • For the most part, FSD does seem to be choosing parking spots closer to the designation, which is good, but I'm not noticing a big change in parking behavior overall. • Blinker activates later than previous version of FSD, a nice improvement • Speed profiles seem mostly the same Overall, I'm not noticing huge changes vs 14.2.2.5 in my first couple of drives, so I need more time with it. V14.3 does need some smoothening out, but I expect that with a bigger dot release like this. V14.3 feels like it's setting the stage for something larger to come, and that further reasoning capabilities will be added in future FSD updates.

Tesla Self-Driving v14.2.2.4 First Drive I keep typing out and then deleting my words—it’s hard to give a good “review” of FSD when each version feels so similar to the last. That’s not a bad thing. Overall, FSD now handles everything it should, and it has for a while. There are still issues with speed control (I made a separate post about that), no max speed setting, rolling stops aren’t implemented, navigation could use work, etc. With all that said, the car drove me around for an hour tonight with zero interventions. It parked perfectly at every destination, made smart lane choices, and drove really well. Is FSD v14.2.2.4 perfect? No. But it’s incredible how good FSD has become. I’ll do a proper drive tomorrow and give a better review. I just wanted to get something out tonight for those who care. It’s almost 1 a.m., so I’m heading to bed. If there’s anything specific you want me to test tomorrow, let me know and I’ll try it on my drive.

I’ve seen a lot of comparisons between Ashby 2020 and Gary 2025, both before the event and after - I think it’s safe to say that Gary beats Ashby by quite a fair margin, both from the actual tornado to the meteorological setup itself (see the tornadoes that happened before Gary and further east into Minnesota) - as for myself though, I did a far better job forecasting and chasing Ashby - the anniversary isn’t too far away so here’s a video of Ashby - I so wish I had forecasted Gary better so I could’ve gotten better footage of it, but still unbelievably happy to have seen it -

Seen this movement stuff for a while, so I finally gave it a go. This was my first time doing it, so it’s not perfect yet, it felts great… I wanna to start adding this into my daily routine. It’s meant to help with blood flow, lymphatic drainage, mobility, and getting the whole body moving. My body is way stiffer than it looks, tight shoulders, neck and back.. so this seems perfect and simple.

Especially if you are in Europe at least like. 13 year 14 years ago when I was trying to get my driver’s license. Most cars were manual so you have to do the shifting. You have to pay attention to all the signs. All the traffic rules, and it takes a lot of effort. Now it’s second nature - I don’t have to think when I drive. It’s all reflexes. Like parallel parking. That was a really hard thing for me to learn. It took a lot of effort. And now I can just perfectly parallel park 9 times out of 10. Without any kind of effort. And if I had put in some effort. I could do it 10 times out of 10. It’s the same thing with trading. Same thing. It’s the same thing with anything you want to learn. It’s a skill.”
