oMLX last version seems having some issues in decoding. 🧐 Here a test with Qwen3.6-35B-A3B-MLX-6bit on M5 Max using. 🥇 LM Studio MLX 1.8.5 → 100.9 toks/s 🥈 mlx-vlm 0.6.2 → 100.1 toks/s 🥉 oMLX 0.4.2 dev3 → 58.7 toks/s 👀 Avg Gen TPS: oMLX 58.7 → LM Studio 100.9 (+71.8%) I have to thank pymike00 that raised this oMLX issue after seeing my video on using it with Codex. I bet there is a bug in oMLX chat and server at the moment, because internal benchmarks are ok, video attached. I bet Jun Kim will fix this soon 💪

Splash is here! A month ago, DFlash 2 ran Qwen3.8-27B at 70 tok/s on an M5 Max. Today, Splash runs it at 144 tok/s on the same Mac ⚡ Getting that speed used to take work. Splash is built around the model, with the DFlash 2 draft already in it. Two commands and you're running.

On weekends I usually work on some experimental stuff. I was really inspired by the BF6 destruction system and decided to do some R&D for similar pre-baked destruction in Trench Tales. Here is the very first tech test. Let's see what I can achieve by Monday.

I feel like I’m doing something very strange and wrong, but it works. On the right is what I draw by hand. On the left is the result of the shader running on those masks. So every hat, shirt, etc -just a bunch of colors and numbers in the assets, and a reference to sprite library

Here is my 1 hour drive on FSD 13.2 mostly in "Hurry" mode. For those of you that dislike how slow FSD can be... this is for you. Lots of cool stuff in this 10x video, but some notable moments: 1:31 - Lowered max speed when I saw a cop. I lowered max a few times in this drive. 2:14 - Watch Hurry blast past everyone to be the first on the highway 2:40 - Hurry likes to be at FSD's max of 85mph... it will move over for faster traffic, but likes to get right back into the passing lane 3:38 - A difficult combined highway entrance/exit handled gracefully

Anthony Jeselnik is a comedian who is as edgy and as offensive as comedy comes, but he also doing it in good faith and in the context of stand-up comedy. And he accepts and understands what he is doing. He is RIGHT ON here.

The only discharge petition I will support is one that discharges all of these people back to Haiti. In 2022, Terry and Brenda Aultman were riding their bikes home when a Hatian on TPS killed them in my district. When do we care about their deaths? A few weeks ago, Yasmin Easman was murdered again by a Hatian here on TPS who used a hammer to crush her skull. When do we care about her? TPS is a huge SCAM. Let me be clear: I did not come here to protect Haitians; I came to protect Americans and our great country.

Here it is, the whole thing, 33 years later. First saw it in the theater with my eighth-grade Pop Warner team. When the street scene was still in it. All the lines from it lived on, and hold up. Best sports movie ever.

The first boss on Xenocrisis is famously difficult. But there is a method and it took me a long time to figure it out. But here is how to do it if he’s giving you trouble. I demonstrated it working here three times in a row to prove it works!

Secretary Scott Turner FIRES BACK at left-wing media pundits trying to paint the crackdown on Somali fraud in Minnesota as “racist.” Turner said this isn’t about ethnicity...it’s about enforcing the law, and some people do not want the law enforced. TURNER: “Well, Julie, it has nothing to do with it. It’s smoke and mirrors. This is all a distraction from what the real problem is here.” “This has nothing to do with race, nothing to do with ethnicity. Under President Trump’s leadership, American people...American people are first. Our country is first.” “It has nothing to do with the Somalis but it has everything to do with criminal activity.” “Our job, when we get appointed or elected, is to uphold the law, and that’s what you see going on right now.” “And there’s a lot of people in our country, some of the far-left media, far-left activists, who do not want the laws of America to be upheld.” “But this is a day, with President Trump and other leaders in our administration, where we are going to uphold the law, enforce the law, and prioritize the American people and the American people ONLY.”

llamacpp vs omlx with Gemma-4-26B-A4B-it 🔥 🥇 llamacpp 🥈 oMLX Notes: - 11 parallel tasks - qat-Q4_0 vs OptiQ-4bit on omlx. - M5 Max 128GB macOS 27 Beta 1, relevant read below. - Fork of Gemma cookbook repo used with oMLX and iTerm2 usage added. Here: Observations: - llamacpp is more fluid in general, oMLX tends to slow down during prefill phase of a new request - I tested some MLX Gemma 4 qat, but they are all large in size, slower and with lower quality 🤷🏻‍♂️ - OptiQ quantization looks stronger than plain 4bit or 5bit MLX - Final result I slightly prefer OptiQ-4bit SVG gallery (on the right) - Results keep changing everytime I start a new instance of llamacpp or omlx, with differences up to 50%. Maybe due to macOS 27 beta1?

Conor McGregor spoke about the Max Holloway rematch for the first time 👀 "I've got a great deal off the UFC. They honored me, finally." "Preparation is going very well. We're living, breathing, and sleeping in the gym." "The opponent is a man that I've beaten before. Our last bout was martial arts mastery by yours truly, so I plan on doing it again. I plan on showing my growth and my improvements in there." (via Mac Energy)
