1. Bengals legend Tim Krumrie greeted fellow Pro Bowl nose tackle Dexter Lawrence before practice before giving pointers to the defensive tackles afterward. “I think Coach Jerry (Montgomery) is going to have fun this year with the D-line,” said Krumrie “It’s a good group of guys. They asked for a little help after practice and I gave them a few tweaks. It’s going to be fun watching the games this year.”

Blake is currently the Director of the QB Academy at IMG and he enjoys watching Joe Burrow. “He’s got a tight throwing motion, really good mechanics, generates a lot of power in his throws, and he’s really accurate,” said Blake. “He was blessed to have the opportunity to take this team to a Super Bowl, and he’s young enough to do it again.”

NL Rookie of the Year candidate Sal Stewart attended practice and met the 2021 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. “Every Sunday this jersey is on,” said Stewart. “My girlfriend bought it for me as a Christmas gift. I told her, ‘Hey, I want a Ja’Marr Chase jersey.’” What does Sal admire about Chase? “Everything,” he said. “His explosiveness, his competitiveness. When he came out and said the ‘7-11’ thing — I’m young so I think that’s super cool. But then the next game he goes out and proves it. That’s awesome.”

Use whatever method that works for you. But this is why I can’t use the line on my ball to putt. Here is a close up of Aaron Rai’s putt from today. To be fair I have no idea what Aaron Rai’s process is on the green. Not sure if he’s trusting the line of the putter face or the line of the ball. Or maybe neither. All I know is if I ever look down and see conflicting lines, I’ll start second guessing everything about my read.

Shemar Stewart looks a split-second faster in drills to me, earning the praise of D-line coach Jerry Montgomery. “I feel like that comes from mental clarity,” said Stewart. “Once you know what you’re doing, you can play and move a lot faster. When you’re in your head about things and you’re second-guessing yourself, that’s when you move around timid. I feel like that’s what I’ve been trying to eliminate from my game since I walked out of here after year one. “I think I got my first “good job” from Jerry this offseason so I’m doing something right.”

This is Brown Bunny. I call him “The OG” sometimes. I told Charlotte that he arrived at our doorstep from Bunnyland before she was born, carrying a blanket and some snacks. He told us he was here to wait for his best friend, Charlotte, and from the day we gave him to her, they’ve been inseparable. Like the Velveteen Rabbit, he’s been well-loved and the years are definitely showing. But he’s the best Brown Bunny a little girl could ever want and he’ll be with her for as long as she needs him. Both players are rehabbing leg injuries with the expectation of being ready for the season opener. “I want to hit the ground running, so we’re taking the right precautions to do that,” said Cook. “So far so good. I’m very excited about where I’m at, and I have plenty of time to make sure I’m right for week one.”

I downloaded this clip because I was looking at the wildfire filter and saw flashes along California fault line coming from Nevada and up the California valley along the San Andreas Fault line. I just ran across it and what caught my eye is a shadow of something travelling from top left to down bottom left side of the screen. Is that a cloud making the shadow? What is it? Anyways, tell me what you think.

Mike Evans was asked if any of the young guys in the 49ers WR room is standing out so far in training camp: “I mean Strib. Stribling had a really good offseason— OTAs, and he’s continued that during training camp, but all of them are really getting after it. This is a hungry group of guys. We look forward to showing that we’re one of the best receiver rooms in the league.”
