🚨 Five smash-and-grab suspects arrested in Elsies River. An intelligence-led joint operation involving City Law Enforcement, Metro Police and SAPS used CCTV, intelligence and drone surveillance to track and apprehend the suspects.

As a victim of a smash and grab at Jakkalsdraai on Jakes Gerwel Drive I am glad when any smash and grabbers are brought to book.

We need this deployed full-time across all smash-and-grab hotspots. The combination of CCTV, real-time intelligence, drone surveillance and coordinated enforcement clearly works. Big ups to @CityofCT for also rolling out body cameras, helping improve accountability and preserve crucial evidence. 👏🏽 Now let’s expand it and keep the pressure on these criminals!

Now we need proper consequences for their actions. I vote chop off their left ear on the 2nd offence, hand on the 3rd, no jail time as that's a waste of taxpayers money just to send them to crime university.
