My son started on cars age 12 (when he got his first paddock basher).. He's 33 now. Can do a his own mechanics.. Professionally speaking he's a master ropesman now (learned 3 trades in harness) hangs off sky scrapers doing repairs for danger money now. Practical hands on skill sets make the man.. it's the way.

A family member owned a car scrap & salvage yard. With his help my brother built a truck from the frame up when he was 16. He built his own house when he was 20 and has built a total of 4. He has a career as a millwright. I know he watches Jess's videos. They are fun to watch.
