"We made one simple change: We said that all programming must get to revenue-neutral. You're not going to get there from just ticket sales. You've got to bring in corporate America and donors. The only way to bring in corporate America is to make sure that the programming is for everyone, that it's not woke and crazy left."

This is the Basketball Rondo passing drill. We have this in the activities library. (Download more games like this here➡️ This is a great game for passing under pressure. Four players are in a small space, like you see in the video, with three defenders. The defense has to get a steal in order to go on offense. The offense has to make 10 passes in a row to win the game. Coaches can change the space the players operate in, adjust the number of players in the game, and even combine their principles of play into it. For example, you could apply “zero-second decisions,” where players must pass immediately upon catching it, or it’s a turnover.

“We need good football players, it doesn’t matter the position that they play. Get em in the building & sort it out.. the whole perception that ‘you need this position, you need that position’ that’s made up, we don’t approach it that way.. this whole concept of drafting for need, honest to god, I don’t even know what it means.” Caserio is one of those overly pragmatic guys who thinks he’s smarter than everyone in the room. Sometimes the simple approaches and logic is the smartest one, no some egotistical big brain approach. He should’ve done ALL in on OL, especially after trading Tunsil. Yet he played the board and TRADED BACK. Could have easily traded up and got a solid OL piece. This isn’t even mentioning approach in FA.

The U.S. bishops say they are concerned about loss of belief in the transubstantiation. Well, there is a very simple solution to this. It's called Lex Orandi Lex Credendi. Get rid of the dispensation for communion in the hand. Tell the able-bodied to kneel for communion. Let the old and handicap continue to stand or sit as needed. Place the Eucharist on the tongue for every communicant. Restore intinction with this. Bring back the altar rails to make things go more smoothly. How we pray, and how we act, affects how we believe. This is not rocket science. It's pretty simple really.

When the league floods the sport with gambling money, pretends it’s harmless, then acts shocked when players take the bait… that’s not innocence, that’s negligence. You plant a seed, you own the roots. For the players; All money isn’t good money. People watch this sport because they believe the game is real and fair. Families spend their money, they bring their kids, and they want to know the players on the floor are giving an honest effort. When you’re in this league, it’s bigger than you. Your name, your family, your future, they’re all tied to every choice you make. You’re not just risking a season. You’re risking your career, your freedom, and your reputation. That’s not a game. That’s your life.

Basketball is played WITH the basketball 5% of the time. One of my favorites quotes from Billy Donovan is: ‘The other 95% of the time most players spend trying to get the basketball’. Players also can’t conceptualize the amount of time they have the ball in their hands in a game. They think it’s exponentially more than it actually is. The ball is glorified, and rightfully so, but what are we doing with the other 95%? Do be ELITE REQUIRES impacting the game without the basketball. Albert Riera says out loud what many coaches think but rarely state so clearly: playing too much with the goalkeeper doesn’t help you win games. The priority is simple: - play forward. - find the free man. - find the players who change the game. The goalkeeper is there to defend. Sometimes to help create superiority — yes. But assists from goalkeepers are rare, and results are not decided by them. That’s why Riera trains it deliberately: use the goalkeeper once — and then you must play forward. Remove the safety net. Force solutions ahead of the ball. Train it. Automate it. And in games, you’ll naturally play less with the goalkeeper.

Been, um, refreshing seeing so many people start questioning the NBA’s 65-game rule for All-NBA after people have been telling me I’m crazy for the past three years. This was never a good solution for the load management issue; All-NBA teams are designed to mark for history who are the best players in a given season. Now that Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Victor Wembanyama, etc all may not be eligible this season, it’s safe to say this year’s All NBA team won’t do that. All-NBA accolades used to be one way we could truly compare players from different eras, because it measured them in their own times, but now that’s gone. Not to mention that All-NBA is tied to some players’ contracts - Jalen Williams is gonna miss out on $48 million this year due to a surgery the Thunder themselves wanted him to have. So what’s the REAL solution to load management? Watch to the end:
