This was a sad day and I remember it very well. Max put his love for this Country front and center. Canada doesn’t have many patriotic politicians like Max and this partially explains why Canada is in the state of disarray. Sheer was never the right candidate for CCP leader.

Today, in the House of Commons, Liberal Minister Steve MacKinnon made a damning statement against the CPC, claiming that the Conservative Party forced temporary foreign students to volunteer in the Cloverdale–Langley by election, where Tamara Jansen is the MP. I fact checked this story, and I believe it is, to my great regret, true and accurate. As per a recent investigation, a campus director told foreign students in B.C. that volunteering in the CPC campaign would count as “course work” and could “help them get permanent residency.” This is unacceptable. CPC members and supporters deserve an explanation. Yes, recently, the Conservative Party appears to be taking a more conservative stance on mass immigration. But let’s remember a few things… In 2022, 113 CPC MPs voted in favour of Motion M-44, which is at the root of mass immigration and LIMA-based job listings. The CPC continues to allow foreign-born residents who can’t fully speak English to run for office with the party. Poilievre advocated for a direct flight between Canada and Amritsar, a city in the Punjab state of India, and said last year that we need to make it easier for immigrants to work in Canada. What is going on here? What does the CPC actually believe? Can you truly be "Canada First" when you have this agenda? Why are they seemingly opposing mass immigration and the TFWP while simultaneously manipulating foreign students into working on their campaigns? We deserve answers.

Bernier explained that Radio-Canada/CBC produces the debates and have hinted that the PPC will be excluded. The host of Radio-Canada’s Le Téléjournal reportedly referred to Bernier as “a leader who won’t be at the debates." “How is it possible that Ms. Galipeau knows this already?" the PPC leader said during a press conference in Quebec. "I think I have the answer. Radio-Canada/CBC will produce the debates, so they’re talking to the Commission, and I presume everybody there already knows that I won’t be invited. And she spilled the beans live on TV, probably unintentionally,” Bernier explained. "The process is a fake process," he told Ezra. "Just to be sure that they will exclude the People's Party, they have the two conditions, and at every election they are coming with a new condition to make sure that we won't participate." There's a lot of people like that and they're not represented.” “In this country, it's the worst that's ever been in terms of the polarization of the two sides. People think of the other side as an idiot, no matter what.” “It’s a tribal thing. As tribal as any other thing that we have in the world, and in this country it just doesn't work and we just get captivated by corporations because of that.” Friendly reminder that most of us have some conservative views and some liberal views. You should not feel shame for this. You should also not feel shame if you have more conservative views than liberal views and vice versa. What you shouldn’t do is attach yourself to views merely because some politician in a party told you to. In your local election you can vote liberal and then in the presidential election vote conservative, there is nothing wrong with that. Vote for the candidate in whatever election you are participating in who you believe represents you the best.

Having joined the liberal party as a 14 year old, volunteering in hundreds of campaigns, knocking on thousands of doors, running in 4 elections, serving under many leaders & being elected as a Member of Parliament I know that the liberal party is bigger than one person, & our country bigger than one party.
