I hope this clears up any confusion about Quebec being a Nation in Canada. It has since 2007. "The Québécois nation motion was a parliamentary motion tabled by Conservative Party leader and Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper on November 22, 2006,[1] and approved by the House of Commons of Canada on November 27. It was approved 265–16 with supporters in every party in the Commons.[2] The English motion read:" Never say I don't put in the effort folks. I was a Reformer. So when I heard Stephen Harper say this, it put a bitter taste in my mouth. Harper was supposed to give Reformers an elected Senate and a Senate that recognized the population of the West, when doling out seats. Instead Reformers got a Pro Quebec equalization retool & Quebec was declared a Nation, within Canada. Something that has had a very negative impact on Western Canada and given Quebec special status in Canada. Harper did all of this to eventually win a majority government. You can't rewrite history.

The Conservative Party has an Alberta problem — a big one It's not because Alberta has abandoned the Conservatives, but because Alberta's Conservative voters might be outgrowing Ottawa, and we have the poll numbers to prove it. A new @ActForAlberta poll shows something remarkable: 66% of Conservative Party of Canada supporters in Alberta support independence; 51% strongly support it. Another 15% somewhat support it. That is not a fringe. That is not a handful of angry keyboard warriors. That is the federal Conservatives' Western engine room looking at Confederation and saying: maybe this deal is done. And that explains something important about the way Pierre Poilievre and the federal Conservatives talk about Alberta independence. They oppose it, of course. They have to. The Conservative Party of Canada cannot win without Alberta. Take Alberta out of Confederation and the CPC loses its safest seats, its donor base, its volunteer army, and its moral claim to represent Western Canada. Without Alberta, there may never be another Conservative government in Ottawa again. So yes, they are against independence. But notice what they are not doing. They are not going full Liberal-style Project Fear. They are not screaming that Albertans are stupid, racist, reckless, dangerous separatists who need to be shamed back into line. Why? Because they can read a poll. If two-thirds of your own Alberta supporters back independence, you cannot sneer at them without blowing up your own base. You cannot smear them as extremists when they are your riding presidents, your donors, your door-knockers, your sign crews, your voters. So, the CPC is trapped. Ottawa needs Alberta to stay. We deserve ANSWERS from the Conservative Party of Canada (Conservative Party). Today, in the House of Commons, Liberal Minister Steve MacKinnon made a damning statement against the CPC, claiming that the Conservative Party forced temporary foreign students to volunteer in the Cloverdale–Langley by election, where Tamara Jansen is the MP. I fact checked this story, and I believe it is, to my great regret, true and accurate. As per a recent investigation, a campus director told foreign students in B.C. that volunteering in the CPC campaign would count as “course work” and could “help them get permanent residency.” This is unacceptable. CPC members and supporters deserve an explanation. Yes, recently, the Conservative Party appears to be taking a more conservative stance on mass immigration. But let’s remember a few things… In 2022, 113 CPC MPs voted in favour of Motion M-44, which is at the root of mass immigration and LIMA-based job listings. The CPC continues to allow foreign-born residents who can’t fully speak English to run for office with the party. Poilievre advocated for a direct flight between Canada and Amritsar, a city in the Punjab state of India, and said last year that we need to make it easier for immigrants to work in Canada. What is going on here? What does the CPC actually believe? Can you truly be "Canada First" when you have this agenda? Why are they seemingly opposing mass immigration and the TFWP while simultaneously manipulating foreign students into working on their campaigns? We deserve answers.

Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation Chief Sheldon Sunshine who initiated the First Nations lawsuit against Alberta separatist groups, the Alberta government and Canada (and won) gave an update in Maskwacis today. “Alberta cannot do this (separation referendum) unilaterally. Doing so would be a breach of treaty.” He says what the Alberta government is doing is enabling and allowing the separatists. “We also named Canada (in the lawsuit), for doing nothing.” Even though Canada is the Treaty partner with First Nations, it has done nothing so far.

This Filipino Albertan supports Alberta independence because he recognizes what is happening in Canada. He came here in 1994. He loved Canada. He raised the Canadian flag proudly. But now he says this is not the same country anymore. Government overreach. Fear of speaking openly. Rising costs. Politicians who take more and give less back to the people. Many immigrants came to Canada because they wanted freedom, opportunity, and honest government. When they start warning us that Canada is beginning to look like the places they left, we should listen. Alberta independence is about recognizing the direction Canada is going and choosing a better future before it is too late. I support Alberta independence.

⚜️🌹🗳️🇨🇦 : Bloc Québécois MP Christine Normandin asks Mark Carney if he will allow a referendum on separation. Mark Carney says in order for there to be a referendum to leave Canada, you first must have a majority vote showing people want a referendum. Clearly the rules have changed & grassroots movements that took in over 700K signatures, like in Alberta, were pointless. Now democracy means whatever Mark Carney decides it means. This is exactly why we need Provincial leaders who can stand up to Ottawa. Something desperately lacking in Canada. Democratic & basic human rights keep changing for average citizens. All while the government assumes an autocratic style of governance that makes democracy pointless. We are being slow walked out of a democracy folks. There is no other way to look at it.
