Jamal says that in 1991, after Iraq invaded Kuwait, Palestinian leader Arafat said in a speech before the Arab League that "the Kuwaiti problem will be solved only after the Palestinian Cause." Palestine was a cause, but Kuwait -- invaded and burnt down by a fellow Arab country -- was only a problem. In 1991, only 12 out of 22 Arab League members voted against Iraq, six Gulf countries and the six others were bought off by wealthy Gulf governments. This round, the line is even clearer since aggression is not by an Arab League member against another, but by a non-Arab foreign country against Arab countries, and yet, the Arab League is shameful and so are countries like Iraq, Algeria, Sudan's Burhan government and West Libya government. The Gulf is hurt and will not forget how fellow Arab countries let it down, like always citing Palestine as a distraction. When the shooting stops, I expect a few Gulf countries to rush to normalization with Israel. My money is on Kuwait, perhaps Saudi Arabia too.

Obama: John McCain. I don't want to over romanticize our relationship. John was conservative to put it mildly. He ran against me in 2008 and talked about me on the campaign trail. You know what, he understood that some values transcend party. He believed an honest argument and hearing the views of other people. He didn't demonize political opponents. Do you remember at the end of the campaign when a woman at one of his rallies said, you can't vote for that Arab, he's not even a citizen and he said hold on, I have had a lot of disagreements with Senator Obama but I served with him, he is a good man and an honorable man and a patriotic American, shut it down. He knew that if we get in the habit of bending the truth to suit political expediency or party orthodoxy, democracy can't work. The man had character.

But the Founding Fathers would not agree that Vivek is as American as apple pie — and neither would Charlie Kirk. You can no more self-identify as an American than a man can put on a dress and call himself a woman.

When the Cenk Uygur falsely claimed on Al Arabiya that the reason there’s war is “occupation” and that there would be “peace with the Arab states if there were no occupation” I had to set him straight. The war isn’t even with the Arab world…the war is with the Islamic regime in Iran, (which isn’t Arab). Furthermore, long before any “occupation,” Palestinian terrorists and Arab states were hell bent on destroying the state of Israel, *instead* of establishing a Palestinian state. Rejection of the right of Israel to exist, whether from the Islamic regime in Iran or Palestinian leadership — that is the root of the problem.
