Fleetwood Mac performing "Silver Springs", at Warner Bros Studios, 1997. Imagine writing one of greatest break up songs of all time, and making your ex play guitar and sing backup on it while staring into his soul on national TV. This is why she’s the Queen of Rock and Roll.

She was inspired by a freeway sign for Silver Spring, Maryland. Silver Spring is a suburb of Washington, D.C. True story.

Lindsay wrote Go Your On Way about her. So…

We’ll said. She didn’t make him do it, though. He wanted to do it. Those two are connected eternally on a whole different vibration. This is really a touching performance, with Christine, John and Mick meeting the moment too. Special band here.

Fleetwood Mac and The Rolling Stones were the two bands that never prioritized their egos and personal drama over their music.

That on stage chemistry is why no one can replace Lyndsey B.

One of their great performances 👍

The final is astonishing. Full of tension. All in the eyes (and voices).

Christine is low key brilliant on this too

A dramarockumentuary could be made about Fleetwood Mac & it would be incredible! The chemistry, the tension, & the dedication to the art fueled their legendary music. Stevie Nicks is part of the soundtrack of my life. I was raised listening to her on LPs, & I have vivid memories of dancing & singing her songs into a wooden spoon in my living room as a kid. Her voice is like a warm hug or the feeling of being home. She's a queen for sure!

Wouldn’t go that far but she is definitely up there. Lindsey Buckingham brings it here too 🎸
