Flight attendants don’t even get paid for boarding passengers — their working conditions need to change.

If a a flight attendant can be fired for their performance during boarding, they should be paid during boarding.

They should be paid the moment they step aboard the plane, if not the moment they enter the airport since I willing to bet some airlines force their FAs to do stuff prior to even entering the craft. But the moment they begin to do anything that is work, they need to be paid.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY DONT GET PAID FOR BOARDING??? HALF THE PEOPLE ON THE FLIGHT TREAT THEM LIKE MAIDS BEFORE THEY EVEN SIT DOWN?!?!?

@DivaLaci Yeah idk how its legal for them to only be paid once the doors are closed. They’re literally working the entire time, helping people find seats, helping with luggage, answering questions, prepping. They deserve better.

This is nuts. Decades of stolen wages. Billions of dollars taken from these workers. Outrageous.

But yet the airline wants you to buy your ticket ahead of time. Tell you what, I'll pay you for my ticket once we get to my destination and we land. 🙃

@AOC Gimme a break. A job that requires only a HS education, minimal training & even less physical or mental work and pays an average of $86k, are mad that they have to board the passengers that pay their salaries.
