🚨 FLOODS DON'T START WITH RAIN-THEY START WITH GREED. While many are blaming the downpour, this is the reality too many ignore. Wetlands are being swallowed by concrete. Buildings are rising where nature was meant to hold and drain floodwaters. When we destroy these natural buffers, we shouldn't be... show more

The government must sanction these greedy chiefs who sells wetlands to settlers

We won’t learn anything…we’ll be here next week, next year

Sure bet

The government must sanction chiefs who greedily sell wetlands to settlers. Their actions fuel illegal development, worsen flooding, and put countless lives at risk. Anyone who knowingly grants permits for construction in Ramsar-protected areas should also face prosecution

Sarfo, the sad thing here is that, next year, we’ll be here discussing this same issue and you will post another video on this and I will post this same comment, trust me.

The day Galamsey will start punishing us it will be worst than this 🤧

Only the truth shall set us free from floods... #StopEcocide #ClimateAction

Well said. We’re the cause of our own problems then we turn around and blame government. We’re all involved

Thank you very much. I hope people see this, and stop blaming the government. Sigh...

You are telling us the truth, all the water bodies are fighting us

Next punishment will be galamsey and deforestation. Maybe in 5, 10 years. Who knows….

Say it louder

@joyce_bawah

I always say, “Water is NOT Difficult, we are”

They do all these and then they go to their churches and pray 🙏🏿
They blame it on the government If we live by rules and regulations, all this would not have happened

"Water no get wings to fly. Water go find ein way."

Bibinii de3 s3 aboa akai 😒

@DominusBurniton The reason I have no sympathy for this year's flood victims. This isn't a natural disaster; they caused the flood and must bear the consequences. You naa are blocking river paths, and the same people are clogging the gutters with filth. Where should the runoff go?

I blame the Government, it is the duty of the government to break it down

At this point, we have to leave Ghanaians to perish. This might be Gods way of whipping the surface of Ghana or cleansing Ghana of stupidity.

Respect to you my guy, but I don't think you're explaining this issue the way it is, no one wants to tna the waterways, it is only as a result of our leaders failing us, no affordable housing and high rent is forcing people to build in a haste, kings sell it, AMA issues permits

Keep exposing the rot Bro. We’ll give you your stone in the future 👌✅

This is gonna happen next year we don’t learn

Classic example is Villaggio

We all know the solution to this flooding problem but we keep pretending

This isn’t the solution, the solution is have a better drainage to collect rain water to the sea, or create artificial dam for elsewhere for it

Location

We don’t learn

Next year same or worse will happen

Exactly 👍
