Every state should not have squatters rights at all.

does this represent Miami?

No place should.

Squatters' rights should not be a thing anywhere

That is exactly the way you take care of business with criminals

No squatters' rights in Florida? Guess the alligators already claimed dibs on every spare patch of land. 🐊✨

Florida Department of Law Enforcement shows a 20% decrease in squatting incidents since the passage of HB 621 in 2024, highlighting the effectiveness of new legislation in deterring unlawful occupancy.

I mean if you don’t pay you should get out. Common sense goes a long way.

Can anyone explain what the squatter law is please 🤔🙌!!

@iluminatibot You make a good point about adverse possession. In some cases, if someone squats on vacant property and meets all legal requirements like continuous occupation, paying taxes, etc. , they can gain ownership after the statutory period (usually 7+ years).

Nor should they.
