Florida isn't banning books?

Not joking at all, but I was surprised to see that they hadn't removed the dictionary. Will they just redact anything about race and sexuality from existing dictionaries?

Is there a list of the books being removed? They should be documented so that other libraries can make them available virtually.

I’m 💔. I read The Diary of Anne Frank in 4th grade. It was life changing, in good ways. Now it is banned? If a 13 yr old girl could live it, than 13 yr old kids can read it. Reading is one of the most beautiful gifts we have, they want to take that from our kids.

They act like these books, textbooks, novels & others are Hustler magazines. 🤦🏼‍♀️ What exactly are they supposed to learn now? I also don't understand how this isn't a violation of 1A rights? Authoring is exercising your 1A right to free speech. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Before the age of reading tablets I used to say "never trust a person who's TV is larger than their bookshelf". Guess we cannot trust Florida then.
