Floridas anti-trans bathroom bill creates more problems than it "solves"

Lemme see if I've got this straight: A male cop walks into a females restroom and demands that a woman leaves because she's the one that's making people uncomfortable and doesn't have ID on her? Do I have that right? That is ridiculous. You shouldn't need ID to use the restroom.

They seriously didn't think this through.

Florida has a major and real problem with "grooming" and sexualizing kids, and it isn't the LGBTQ community. The attempt to make teenage girls report their periods to the state was shocking to the conscience.

Y’all freaking out about this need to travel a bit Gender neutral bathrooms are not uncommon in other parts of the world /Europe Americans so uptight about Sex and “parts”— travel can help cure your ignorance

Also parents who are caregivers to disabled adult children have been kicked out bathrooms with their adult child, who theyassist in a bathroom, because the parent was female and brought her son to the ladies room because of bathroom ban in a different state. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Bathroom access is crucial to being able to live and thrive. The disabled fought (and still fight) just to find a place to pee. The fact that they are using bathrooms to discriminate means they deliberately want to push trans and anyone who doesn’t conform into the shadows.

As a cis-gender woman this is one of many reasons I wont go back to FL I’ve looked/dressed androgenously since elem school. I’ll NOT have someone decide that I look too male to use the womens toilets. As long as the other person isnt sitting on my lap I dont care who uses which!
