This guy spent $500,000 for this machine to 3D print his entire house. It prints the walls and layers using concrete, which is durable enough to last up to 300 years. The hollow walls allow for easier installation of plumbing and wiring. Steel reinforcements and spray foam add strength, soundproofing and insulation. Because the machine does most of the work, minimal labor is needed, saving up to 45% in costs, and it's also much faster to build. You could move in within a few days to three weeks depending on the House size.

Finally got some time to work on Three.js Water Pro again. Testing out the new foam trails system tonight. Each buoyant object has its own foam generator so you can customize the foam trail for each object (size, decay, opacity, etc.). Foam system now includes wave crests, surface, shoreline, and trails! Last feature remaining for the V2 release is sea spray. This one has proven to be a bit tricky so I'm still testing out different solutions.

Thurston County on Tuesday signed off on an ordinance requiring people to obtain a Home Energy Score (HES) before listing a property for sale. The policy aims to encourage people in unincorporated parts of the county to make energy efficiency and energy costs transparent to residents and the real estate market, according to the county website. The measure will not take effect until one year after the vote. The Thurston County Commission approved a requirement that homeowners obtain a professional evaluation of their insulation, heating and cooling systems, water heating systems, and other features before putting a property on the market.
