The iPhone Duo might have just killed the need for an iPad mini. 💀 This side-by-side comparison says a lot. Why buy a new iPad mini with a 60Hz display when the iPhone Duo already gives you a massive foldable screen in your pocket?

So many users are complaining about a weird hinge noise on the iPhone Duo, especially in the Night Sky colour. Apparently, it happens when you move the hinge up and down. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue??? 👀👇

🚨 Just one week after the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro series, multiple users are now reporting a green line appearing across their displays. Apparently even a full reset of the phone doesn’t fix the issue.

So it turns out, it's more than just the name that Apple borrowed. iPhone Duo is the first folding phone I've seen copy the Surface Duo's unique multitasking and windowing system pretty much 1:1! iPhone Duo can treat each half of the folding display as separate, letting you dock an app to one side and view your home screen on the other, just like Surface Duo. The gestures for multitasking are identical between iPhone Duo and Surface Duo too. You drag an app to the side you want and it fills that half of the screen. You can pick the app up and move it to the other side, and everything will dynamically adjust. It even does the "automatic" multitasking that I've raved about on Surface Duo. If you open a link in an app, it'll move the app over and open the link in your browser. Surface Duo did this, and now iPhone Duo does too. I've been waiting for a folding phone to copy the Surface Duo's unique multitasking and windowing behavior, and we finally have one in the form of iPhone Duo. Well done, Apple. Between the wide form factor like Surface Duo, the pen support like Surface Duo, and now the multitasking like Surface Duo... I think Surface Duo fans may have finally found their Surface Duo 3 in iPhone Duo.

APPLE MIGHT HAVE JUST SOLVED THE MOST ANNOYING FOLDABLE PROBLEM. 👀🔥 Samsung foldable users know how easily their inner displays can scratch. But the iPhone Duo’s inner display reportedly survives fingernail pressure without visible scratches. No crease drama. Now potentially better scratch resistance too? If this holds up, what excuse will Samsung have left? 💀

CNET’s Live folding and unfolding the iPhone Duo on TikTok and X has now reached more than 124,470 Folds without any damage and is still going strong after 4 days!!! I guess the flaw with the hinge really is with only a few iPhone Duo models!!

Case of public services in China: The countdown has begun at the Chinese subway station.😃 Actually, it's just a bigger screen. All subway stations have such countdown displays. However, they rarely display the countdown accurate to seconds.

This video takes you inside the Galaxy Z Fold8's inner display. The biggest change this year isn't just the crease. It's the overall feel of the display. It looks remarkably similar to a tablet, with the appearance of a rigid panel rather than a flexible one. On many foldables, even the areas away from the crease still show subtle ripples and unevenness, giving away the flexible nature of the screen under certain lighting. The Galaxy Z Fold8 is different. Its entire inner display is exceptionally flat. Once unfolded, it looks and feels much closer to a traditional rigid display than a flexible panel. This is likely thanks to Samsung doubling the thickness of the UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) and reinforcing the display with a titanium support plate. The thicker UTG improves overall rigidity, while the titanium layer provides stronger structural support, resulting in a noticeably flatter display with a more premium, tablet-like viewing experience.

ASPIRATION IS RISING FASTER THAN PRICE SENSITIVITY. Hundreds queue up for the new iPhone in India. This even when Indians are often paying more for the same iPhone than consumers in many other countries. They QUESTION GDP but can they DOUBT PURCHASING POWER AND CONSUMER ASPIRATION ON DISPLAY HERE?
