She showed up but not for her or to get anything from this, she did it for us, she genuinely wants to say thank you to all of us and when she said she wanted to hug and kiss every single one of us she meant it. She was happy, she was smiling all the time, she had some good laughs and I’m sure she had fun tonight. Olympian Amber Glenn has spoken out about supporting the LGBTQ+ community under the Trump administration. Glenn, who identifies as pansexual, recently announced that she is taking a break from social media following backlash for speaking out against the Trump administration. At a press conference for the Winter Olympics on February 4, Glenn said: "It's been a hard time for the community overall under this administration. It isn't the first time that we've had to come together as a community and try and fight for our human rights." She continued: "And now, especially, it's not just affecting the queer community but many other communities. And I think that we are able to support each other in a way that we didn't have to before. And, because of that, it's made us a lot stronger." On using her platform to speak about LGBTQ+ rights, she said: "I know that a lot of people say you're just an athlete, like, stick to your job, shut up about politics... but politics affect us all. It is something that I will not just be quiet about, because it is something that affects us in our everyday lives." Glenn finished by saying: "As a community, we are strong and we support each other and brighter days are ahead of us"

Romanian mother who drives a new Mercedes was arrested for child endangerment after using her three children to panhandle on the side of the road. She had been warned multiple times by the same officer to stop exploiting her kids for begging, and when she realized she was about to be arrested, she even tried coaching her children to cry. She then had the audacity to argue that she wasn’t doing anything wrong. The irony is that many of the people who felt bad for the kids and handed her money were probably poorer than she is. Meanwhile, instead of going after violent criminals, cops have to waste their time arresting greedy, lazy immigrants pulling stunts like this.

They remember what was done to them. But look at us. We are the only community that has been persecuted and enslaved for the longest time in history. Our culture was broken, our civilization was twisted, and our rights were snatched away for centuries. Yet, today’s generation doesn't even know the depth of what we survived. It’s time to stop being silent. It’s time to wake up and remember who we are!
