Food itself isn’t a human right… freedom to seek and obtain food is. Others aren’t morally required to provide it; they’re only required not to prevent you from getting it.

Not a right but a necessity. There is a difference. A necessity is something we are personally responsible for acquiring. A right is something that is given by God and is unalienable from our existence as people. i.e Freedom and the pursuit of happiness. Food is a necessity, not a right. Just like air is a necessity, not a right. i.e. If you run out of air while scuba diving, it is no one else's responsibility but yours. If you run out of food it is your responsibility to earn some. In both cases, it there is also an implied moral responsibility to help your neighbor with the air or the food. But it is still not a right.

So if only two people existed on Earth, each would be REQUIRED to provide enough food for the other??? You RETARD, with your RETARDED slogans... smh

i think the consensus is that if you are being GIVEN food, it should be the least amount necessary to sustain life. beans and rice. It shouldn't be "treats". Having to be given food should bring a level of shame, not hunger. Another aspect is that all the bullshit snacks lead to obesity which then stresses the healthcare system.
