And unless I'm mistaken... you support it as a right, e.g. if a poor person goes to the Emergency Room should they be treated? By law the answer is already yes so do you think this right should be repealed? No, therefore you support healthcare as a human right. The question therefore shouldn't be whether it's a right or not, but what's the best way of providing it, which the free-market is.

Saying healthcare isn’t a human right ignores reality. Access to care is essential to dignity, not a luxury. The UN recognized it in 1948 - and a just society protects health for all, not just the privileged.

If you don’t think health care is a human right. All of Congress should get what we get for medical care. Then once you leave office you lose your coverage just like everyone else who leaves a job. You either pay using COBRA or get your own. How does that sound ?

Healthcare is a survival necessity The government should facilitate access to it and ensure it doesn’t have excessive costs and is available to almost everyone but that doesn’t make healthcare a right The moment you make healthcare a right this means the government can impose medical treatments upon you and force doctors to do certain medical proceedings
