An Iranian logistics company posted this video 3 hours ago showing cargo from vessels turned back by the UAE being loaded onto refrigerated trucks at Bandar Lengeh in Iran. The company says in its instagram post the containers will now be transferred to foreign-flagged vessels and sent from Bandar Lengeh to Khasab, Oman. They will remain onboard while Omani documents are issued and will then continue to Dubai for unloading. The empty containers will return to Bandar Lengeh through Oman. Iranian exporters are effectively being forced to replace the direct route to the UAE with a far more complicated journey through Oman. Pressure on Iranian exports to the UAE began several weeks ago, but it now appears to have reached a new level.
