Soccer not the only sport that Australian women have done well it. Netball is the highest participation sport for women in Australia. They won the world cup for the 12th time nearly two weeks ago. They deserve their government funding too. Just because it is the so-called world game doesn't mean it deserves more funding than other sports. The wealth needs to be spread around. The boom is in all women's sports not just soccer.

The more we buy memberships, go to matches, watch on TV and support the local game. It means money and sponsorships to get the next generation starting

I remember the momentum from Aloisi and early ALeague. Feels similar x 100. Why are we still at this point? I believe there’s room for all codes and could prosper together.
