Can China completely stop the flow of the Brahmaputra into India? Not entirely. A significant share of the river's water is contributed by tributaries and monsoon rainfall after it enters India. However, experts note that China can still influence the timing of water flows through upstream reservoirs and dams, especially during the dry season, and by controlling the sharing of hydrological data. China is also building a massive hydropower project near the Great Bend of the Brahmaputra, close to the Indian border. At the same time, India is accelerating dam and infrastructure projects in the Brahmaputra basin to strengthen its own water security. The Lebanese villages that are right by the border with Israel are empty. An overwhelming majority of their residents have not returned. There is no significant, permanent, and continuous return of #Hezbollah to them. The return of residents who would serve as human shields for Hezbollah's and enable its renewed presence on the border must not be allowed. We must prevent the rehabilitation and renewed construction of a large terror infrastructure strip adjacent to the border with #Israel as it was before the war.

The funniest part of JD Vance’s speech is the ending: “I am angry about the rise of China… but I am most angry that American leadership let it happen.” Let it happen? Y’all, MULTIPLE TIMES throughout the video the white lady & border patrol mention this is NOT at a border crossing but some point that is within 100 miles of a border crossing. Again, THIS WAS NOT AT A BORDER CROSSING. It was a checkpoint in the US WITHIN 100 miles of the border. So.... Border Patrol can have checkpoints up to 100 miles from our actual border. Drive through west Texas and Southern New Mexico, you'll hit a border patrol checkpoint. They will ask you your citizenship. This has been in place for decades....

Currently, the border situation is generally stable and peaceful. The two countries should put the boundary question at an appropriate position in bilateral relations, not allow the boundary question to define the overall China-India relations, still less let specific differences affect bilateral cooperation.
