One of my favourite drills for those golfers who "CAST" the golf club &/or lose their wrist angles to early in their swing... The "Underload/Overload" drill Yes, It will feel weird at first, yes, you will hit some crappy shots, but video your swing to see the difference it makes Then once you've worked on it a little bit, don't exaggerate it as much and you'll start to feel this work more naturally (in time) Give it a go 👊

Here is a simple way to achieve the perfect wrist angles at the top of the swing WITHOUT spending any money on training aids! Grab a tee & place it inside the velcro of your glove. The end of the tee should be resting on your wrist. If you "cup or extend" the lead wrist at the top of your swing, you'll feel the tee digging in You want to feel the lead wrist flatten so the tee doesn't dig into the wrist. DON'T hit balls with the tee in the glove. When you are ready to hit a ball, take the tee out to avoid it digging in during the through swing 👊

SHANK FIX Now there are several causes of shanks, but one thing for certain, shanks are when the hossel of the club is delivered into the ball instead of the sweet spot. When on the course, if you suffer from one of these unfortunate shots, there are some “on the fly” strategies you can bring in, to prevent them from happening again.
