For Luisa Blanco🇨🇴, seeing was believing. "2016 is when everything changed for me, seeing Laurie Hernandez,” she said. "At that moment, the idea of representing Latinos became something I wanted to do in the future." Eight years later, she did just that at #Paris2024.

I remember watching @theLuisaBlanco compete as a Lvl 5 compulsory gymnast and knew with her impeccable form and artistry that she had a bright future ahead. So proud of her for competing NCAA and being an Olympian! ❤️

@Luisablanco20_ @LaurieHernandez India and the United States are competing for the wrestling championship. The United States will do anything to win the gold medal, so bribing the referee is nothing.

"She was brought down in the end, not by the electorate, but her colleagues. Not only is it quite remarkable that she won three elections running...What was remarkable is that she polled slightly more votes on the occasion of her third victory when she had been in office eight years than on her first. That, I regard, as a triumph for her. I think I do regret that because of the commitments I made to my own wife that I did not feel able either to continue in government after 1987, or to return to government when she later asked me to do. I left her, I fear, at the mercy of her 'friends'. That, I do regret." —Lord Norman Tebbit, former Chairman of the Conservative Party (1931 - 2025) R.I.P.

Liv Morgan on having baby fever after seeing Becky Lynch become a mom. “I never thought that for myself. Honestly it’s really weird what changed it, and I don’t know why this was the moment. We did mixed live events this past weekend and I got to see Roux.” “For some reason, just seeing her eight months later and how much she’s grown, and seeing Becky be a mom… I don’t know. Just seeing Roux in that moment, I had a little bit of baby fever.” (2023)

She couldn’t refute what I actually said, so she just changed the argument. I said Democrats only care about Epstein when it helps them politically. She tried to twist that into me “admitting” Republicans don’t care. That is not what I said at all. Since she couldn’t argue the point, she tried to rewrite it into something easier to attack.

Sage Steele shares a heartbreaking story of being pressured into taking the COVID vaccine—her experience will leave you stunned. “I made an appointment at the grocery store to go get a shot because I needed to keep my job.” “I sat in that parking lot before I went in, disgusted with myself because I felt like I was caving in. I felt like I had no choice. They gave us no choice.” “I sat down in the chair in the little pharmacy, and my eyes were red, and the nurse, a wonderful woman, looked at me and said, ‘are you okay?’ I said, ‘No, I'm not. I'm being forced to do something to my body that I think is wrong. I have no choice.’ I was crying and she looked at me and she grabbed my hand, this complete stranger, and said, ‘This is so wrong, and I am so sorry.’ At that moment, she put the needle in my arm.” “I felt I I changed forever at that moment when I realized that I was forced to give up control of my body for something that was an experiment.” “In that moment, I did what I felt was right for my family.”

Timothée Chalamet talking about his mom on ‘Quotidien’: “My mother is everything to me; I’m so proud to be her son. She gave me everything; she gave me confidence. I think she’s proud too. I hope. Yesterday, she said to me, 'Send me the suit for the French Premiere before you come.' I sent it, and she said, 'It’s beautiful, just like your mother,' something like that. Yes, she tells me all the time, but my mother is my champion in everything. You see, when I lost at the Grammys, she told me, 'It wasn't fair that you lost”.

Most Catholics know Mary stood at the Cross. But the CCC# 964 says something stunning: Mary “lovingly consented" to the sacrifice of her Son. That is not sentimental Marian devotion. That is supernatural holiness. At Nazareth, Mary said yes to the Incarnation. At Calvary, Mary’s yes became a sword through the soul. She did not run. She did not rage. She stood. And in faith, she consented. This is why Catholics love Mary. Not because she replaces Jesus. Because she teaches us how to follow Him when the Cross costs everything. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

By 2010, Laura Delano had spent more than a decade as a psychiatric patient. Diagnosed bipolar as a teenager, she'd handed her life over to doctors and done everything she was told. Then, at age 27, one afternoon flipped how she saw all of it. She was in a day program, at the hospital nine to five. A psychiatrist sensed she was becoming suicidal, and suggested she check herself into the short-term unit. "So I said, yeah, that's a great idea. I'm just going to go home and get my belongings. I'll come back later this afternoon. And he wouldn't let me leave to do that." "Things escalated. I began raising my voice. He called security." That was the moment reality inverted for her. "And that was the moment that I realized that this system I had been turning to for help through all of these years, through the most formative years of my life, that I had been assuming existed to take care of me, to help me feel okay in my skin was actually a system of control, and I just hadn't seen it for what it was because I had never said no to it before." "In an instant, it all just kind of blew up. And I suddenly was like, what have I been participating in? How did I not see this?"

“I looked at the tape and I’d seen it, and my whole life kind of stopped.” — Ambyr on watching her husbands sex tape with his mistress Lala Kent. Ambyr talks about the moment she saw Lala’s sex tape with her then husband Randall. She says that while she already knew the affair was happening, seeing the tape was the moment that truly changed her. Lala responds by saying, “I wish you would have given me a call,” which Ambyr explains would not have made a difference because Lala would not have heard her at the time. Lala later admits that she did not listen when people tried to warn her about Randall. Ambyr says that seeing the tape was a wake up call. In that moment, she told herself, “If you don’t leave, you’re going to die. I wanted to die.” She explains how trapped she felt in her relationship with Randall. Ultimately, Ambyr says that if it were not for Lala, she may never have been able to leave Randall, and in that way, Lala saved her. #TheValley Podcast: An Unlikely Affair

Cornell Jane Doe told police everything was consensual. She texted the guy afterward asking to hook up again. Two years later, civil lawsuit, gang r*pe allegations, men publicly named and fired. Her own statement said she was a five out of ten drunk, agreed to a threesome, and stopped it herself when she wanted to. Regret is not r*pe. And believing women has to include believing what they said at the time.
