The issues referenced in the DRC and China are not flaws of capitalism; on the contrary, those issues would be solved by capitalism.

That’s not theory, that’s the default state of humanity for most of recorded time: almost everyone scraping by, a tiny elite living off land, tribute, or sheer violence, and zero route out for the rest. Capitalism didn’t invent inequality; it invented mass escape from poverty. It’s the only system that scaled production enough to make “ordinary life with options” a thing. You want to criticise how gains are distributed now? Fine. But pretending the alternative is some fair, flourishing equal world is toddler economics. The alternative is universal deprivation with a few well-connected parasites on top, same as ever.

The worst part is: if they paid all the workers enough to live a decent life, billionaires wouldn't be broke. They would still be insanely rich, just a bit less. And we could afford slightly more expensive stuff because we would get paid better.

Let's imagine Apple stops production tomorrow; is there more prosperity and abundance anywhere along the current value chain? Do the workers at Foxconn become richer? Do the kids in the Congo? "For them to be rich, you have to be poor." is wrong. The economy is not zero sum.

It is not zero sum. One person being wealthy does not take money from someone else. If I close my business tomorrow, no one makes more money, but my employees make a lot less on unemployment. For me to be rich, I need people like you to be lazy, unmotivated, and risk averse.
