The H1B visa program is doing the same thing to stem jobs. If we truly are not training a generation of Americans to work in stem, then we are failing as a society. But if the real issue is something deeper and darker about the cultures of the H1B visa holders, we are bringing in, then that is the exact same problem that you’re outlining for these other critical industries. People who will not assimilate should be deported. H1B visa holders should not have hiring decisions. All work visa programs should have an upfront fee, and annual renewal fees. These temporary programs as always have become permanent.

This is the brilliant insight. It is well stated to translate into brilliant policy. The Trump administration needs to take the same brilliance and apply it to grocery prices out of control, and from which which there is no reasonable excuse. AI is being used to maximize profits for producers in the marketplace in ways that hose middle class and lower class, rendering their wages insufficient to pay for their basic needs. This has reached crisis proportions. And needs to be addressed right now. It threatens the midterm election success from the GOP.
