Introducing Fonttrio - the new shadcn/google-fonts :DDD Stop spending time picking fonts, adding them to layout.tsx, and configuring them in globals.css for every typography element. Fonttrio does all of that for you using shadcn registry:font. I’ve put together a collection of font pairs (based on my own preferences and combinations from Google Fonts) so you can set up fonts in your project with just one command. Let’s stop using only Inter and Geist - there are so many more interesting fonts out there!

Onboarding was extra fun to design and build for this one 🕺 It's a moment of delight but it's also functional. It gives Pica a couple valuable seconds to index all of your fonts* so when you click through everything is sorted, loaded, and instantly available. This is an example of how 'design and engineering are really the same.' *unless you're one of those sickos with like 10k+ fonts. Then unfortunately you'll sit with a spinner for a few more seconds 😅

But I think this has been a year where I haven't had any other linemates, kind of like we've been together the whole time. It's helped for sure, getting to know each other, and especially for me, first year here, so it's been helpful."

Tutorial: Use Google AI Studio to analyze and find Adobe Font I needed my old thumbnail font for consistency. Gemini identified it from a screenshot. Then I found it easily in Adobe Fonts (thanks to 1,500 fonts expansion!) and added it to Express to make the new thumbnail.

What an incredible journey it has been with Primark this past year! The platform of endless creativity: Ascia is the place to create almost anything and everything art related. Ascia AI is a 100% solo project that I've been working on for the past three months. It's been a journey of ups and downs, but in the end, I've built something that I truly believe the artistic/crypto community would appreciate. The final result (even though its only the start) was unexpected. Initially, my goal was to create a standard AI project designer. But then, I came up with the idea of combining standard digital art with a reimagined ASCII art style, assisted by "creative agents". Currently, these creative agents work on the backend, conditioned to output a near-perfect project for your crypto token, business project or just for fun. As for the frontend agents, users will soon be able to create their own creative agent. They will adapt and learn from your ideas to output the exact visions you have. Now, to support the future of Ascia, I've created the $ASCIA token. It will help with growth, funding and to get the name out there. This has essentially become my full-time job now, so I’m in deep. It is going to be a home for deep dive video essays, long form interviews, and mini documentaries, each format unique for each story. This project has been a long time coming and it is an honor to finally to get share it with the world. First full episode dropping this Saturday!
