Without transparency, there is no genuine freedom of expression. Platforms influence public debate, amplify biases and can push users towards harmful content. Citizens deserve clarity on how algorithms are designed, trained and tested. Transparency is not control. It is democratic accountability. For sure 😎

If you lived in Enugu or around SE & even some swathes of Edo, Benue, Cross River, you will remember this radio station —Cosmo FM. It was such a huge cultural influence. I became interested in radio broadcasting and later had in a career in it because of this station. But Chimaroke Nnamani (the founder) was accused of stealing govt money to establish it. Station vanished just like that. I made a mini documentary last year about this station, its rise, impact and demise.
