It always amazes me that not many people think much of what would happen with a lack of LDL. Like, what would happen if a drug was created to limit LDL cholesterol... and it was pushed. Take a look around, people. Life is not so pretty these days.

No LDL.....No Life, It is as simple as that. And Doctors want those levels as low as possible. When LDL is lowered by a statin to <70 mg/dL... brain bleeds, known as hemorrhagic stroke, increases almost 3 fold. Testosterone plummets to single digits. Early onset Alzheimer's develops.

With NOVOS, healthy aging is simple: one habit, endless benefits. Feel better, live stronger, and trust the science behind every step.

I have little experience with cholesterol but I read that in the 80s a normal level was 350 and today they say 150 is normal. I no longer trust the medical system.

You are very correct with your historical normal values & what most doctors want levels to be now. I post several times a week about the vital importance of cholesterol & the harmful deadly effects of statins. I also always cited my research for others to read for themselves,

Thank you Carla! Have a fantastic week!💗

And I believe the rise in dementia is from the statin drugs and keeping cholesterol to low

@grok Can you share more info/ insights on LDL / cholesterol in relation to heart/ vascular / dementia/ brain issues? Are statins good or bad to lower cholesterol?

Read the 3 cited research links I provided in my post. Statins are poison. Statins only cause side effects & only add 3.2 days to your life. Cholesterol is not the cause of cardiovascular disease or atherosclerosis. Both of which are caused by sugar, seed oils, insulin resistance, smoking, diabetes & many other lifestyle choices we make that are causative for CVD. Cholesterol does not cause nor has it ever caused heart disease.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 In 2012, the FDA added the warning of possible memory loss to statin drug labels. Although the brain is only 2 percent of the body weight, the brain contains about 25% of the total body cholesterol. Since the blood brain barrier (BBB) prevents cholesterol uptake from the bloodstream, the neurons in the brain must make their own cholesterol, called de novo synthesis. Unfortunately, statin drugs easily cross the blood-brain-barrier and block production of cholesterol in the brain. About 70% of the brain cholesterol is found in myelin sheaths of oligodendrocytes, and 30 percent in cell membranes of neurons and brain cells called astrocytes. Cholesterol depletion in the hippocampus "leads to progressive loss of dendritic spines and synapses". Would you take a drug that prevents your brain from making essential cholesterol? #cholesterol #statin
