Today’s TikTok tip : Setting up your phone I’ll continue from where I stoped yesterday When setting up a new phone , when you get to the screen where you are asked to enter your Apple ID Don’t ever enter an Apple ID that has been used to formerly create an account before , you are likely to get banned if you create TikTok from it Tap on create a new Apple ID , if it proceeds to the next screen , you are safe , if it does not , you will get a message that you can’t create Apple ID, this happens when you have used the phone to create too many Apple ID Just leave the phone for a month and come back to it or get a new phone For the first name and last name , i use the name of my account that I want to name Also when creating passwords , don’t use the password that consist of any of the names you added , it won’t work, I don’t know why After that enter your email address, don’t use a spam email or an email with + somerhing , Apple knows how to catch this well, you want to use a fresh email address , for this I use some of the emails I have already instead , we will use this email to verify the phone later Now to the phone number side , for numbers, purchase as from juicysms and smspva for Apple number purchase , tried some other ones before but you just need a disposable number for this to verify that Apple account that’s all. My wife bought a brand new iPhone at the Apple store located at Jakande, Lekki Phase 1,Lagos last September. We decided to trade it in for a new one today at the Apple Store located at Westfield Stratford City Arcade (London) a few minutes ago Only God did not let them call the police on us The attendant scanned the IPhone and declared that it had been reported as stolen. Stolen from where? It was not a used iPhone It was new, purchased from an approved Apple Store and we have all the receipts intact The attendant saw our indignation and went ahead to consult with her superiors They scanned again and they declared that it was reported “missing”. They adjusted their language from stolen to missing and told us it has zero swap value. I was not shocked at all even though I should be. Nigerians like cutting corners for unhealthy gains and they always believe this is good business for them as long as they were able to make a buck. Somehow we were able to walk out of that Apple Store without any drama but I remember telling my wife that we would have had a lot of explaining to do if they had a policy that required that they must report such incidents to the police. Nigerian business people must try to do better than this There is something called integrity, it has a higher value than the dirty gains they think they are getting by playing dirty. I have always insisted on buying things in Nigeria because it helps the economy but I can see the reason many prefer to shop abroad. We must do better than this as a people. -GSW-

A half eaten apple, the cross that was placed on their clothes, and their name that was finally carved together. #TicketToHeavenEP4 ☆ That apple reminds me of the apple in Adam and Eve story. It's like a symbolic way of how they gave in to something that was considered as 'forbidden' ☆ The cross. I saw the hesitation in Tanrak's eyes when he took it off. It didn't feel like he removed it simply because he was afraid of losing it. Instead, it was as if guilt was gnawing at him, like if he kept it on, he would feel the heavy weight of God watching him. Taking it off was like the choice to let go of that guilt and judgment ☆ The names on the tree. Carving their names into the tree feels like their permanent vow. As if a physical mark that Tanrak chose Barth, for now. To accompany him, to face the world with him // I genuinely didn't know what they actually trying to convey, it's just my personal point of view when I saw this

Apple celebrates its 50th birthday next week, which is a reminder that “Forrest Gump” has Hollywood’s best angel investment ever: Gump and Lt. Dan early in Apple. They get to Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak before the April 1976 launch and prior to first official $250k check from Mike Markkula, who briefly owned 1/3rd of Apple for his investment. That would value at Apple at $750k. Since Gump and Lt. Dan were unsophisticated shrimp guys instead of tech investors, they probably got pinched on valuation by Jobs and paid $100k for 10% of Apple. That would be worth $180m at the Apple IPO in 1980 ($1.8B market cap). An 1,800x return in 5 years. Gump is a loyal dude so probably sold everything when Jobs was booted in 1985. On the other hand, he thought Apple was a fruit company and is financially illiterate…so Gump is likely still holding that stake, which is now worth $300B+ (my calculator broke trying to figure out the ROI).

Probably the hackiest "bypasses" I've ever pulled off in botting: The Shopify REST API was for a long time the best and fastest way to checkout on Shopify. High rate limits, no captchas, no checkpoint and easy to work with. This is what gave Cyber the edge at the very start in 2018 (Dashe days) The Shopify team (with Jean-Michel Lemieux at the helm) spent years plugging the holes to make sure it wasn't used during drops. Around 2020, Shopify released Shopify Pay, which allowed you to expedite checkouts on all stores by linking your details to a phone number. Turned out the payment tokens generated through there allowed you to use the payments API as you could 2 years back. We generated around 3k Shop Pay accounts with randomised details, load balanced them across Cyber tasks (as rate limits were per account) and dominated every single release (...until it got patched). We called it Fast2. 3 years later I noticed that the payments API could still be used with Shopify mobile apps using Apple Pay. Turns out you could still send the users' tokenised credit card data in the request and that would take precedence - and as long as a valid signed Apple Pay token generated in the last 2 minutes was also in the request data, the payment request would go through and bypass captcha and checkpoint. Generating those Apple Pay tokens was the challenge, and reversing iOS frameworks was not an option. So I repurposed an old iPhone with a custom sideloaded Apple Pay app that would submit the token to our servers when the flow completed. And by combining accessibility macros, developer sandbox mode to prevent using real credit cards, a voice activation trigger and a old pair of earphones taped onto the microphone - a makeshift Apple Pay token server was born and Fast2 (or was it Fast3?) was back. Jean-Michel Lemieux thank you for providing me with the longest, most multi faceted puzzle ever.

Flighty is one of those apps every indie iOS dev should study. Ryan Jones got stuck at an airport, hated how useless airline apps were, and decided to build the flight tracker he wished existed. Former Apple ops employee. Built for travelers, not airlines. Won an Apple Design Award. Was used by Apple to show off Dynamic Island. No growth hacks. No loud marketing playbook. Just a product so useful that travelers tell other travelers. That might be the cleanest moat in consumer apps.

This is the Apple Bus. It used to drive me to Apple headquarters in the morning and drive me back home at night every day for ~8 years. Inside, there’s fast wifi, strategically placed tables for your devices, and luxury leather seats for your comfort during the commute. Yet in reality, this is a rolling prison cell, subtly transporting me to a landscape of innovation, but one where I was building someone else’s dream, not mine. I was receiving a salary, a pill I swallowed each day to make me forget about my dreams and ambitions. However, it was my venture into the world of investing in Elon Musk & his ventures that finally offered me an escape ticket to unlock my cell and give me the freedom to build out my own dreams. $TSLA

Apple iPhone 16 vs Pixel 9: Which one should you buy? The iPhone 16 is more of an iterative upgrade over its predecessor, but the Pixel 9 brings several notable upgrades, especially in the camera, design and chipset. While the Tensor G4 may not be as fast as the iPhone 16’s A18 chipset, it no longer heats up and is pretty fast when it comes to multitasking and completing AI-powered tasks. If you are already a part of the Apple ecosystem and have the iPhone 14 or an older device, the iPhone 16 might make sense. On the other hand, the Pixel 9 with its smart AI features, solid design and capable cameras might appeal to to those who want a phone that will get software updates for years to come and want to enjoy the clean user interface stock Android has to offer.

My initial problem with Liquid Glass was that it was terrible for accessibility despite how beautiful it looks it certain places. There is literally only one way to solve this readability issue – make the glass frosted/opaque. And from the public backlash that Apple received it was pretty obvious that it was a matter of time before they made this change. The problem now is that when you make it opaque, it barely looks any different from iOS 18, yet it keeps eating up resources and draining your battery. 3 betas in, and I still feel like this design direction was a big mistake.

Apple just redefined the smartphone era with the iPhone Duo. This isn’t just another foldable—it’s full iPad mini-level productivity engineered into a razor-thin pocketable device. Apple took its time to solve the form factor properly, debuting an invisible crease, dual-battery architecture, and custom vapor chamber thermals. Key highlights: Silicon: Next-gen A20 Pro chip delivering unprecedented efficiency and power. Form Factor: Book-style hinge transforming a sleek everyday phone into an expansive canvas. Software: Adaptive multi-window multitasking built natively for iOS. Pricing & Availability: Starting at $1,999, pre-orders open October 16. The wait was long, but Apple entered the foldable arena to dominate it, not just participate. Are you making the switch, or staying on a classic slab? #AppleEvent #iPhoneDuo #TechNews

I’m just gonna say it: I’m disappointed with iOS 27. - It is fast, sure. - It is snappy too. - It fixes many bugs that were there since iOS 26. - It improves Liquid Glass drastically. The problem is, when I heard at WWDC26 that Apple is making iOS 27 all about optimization and polish, I was expecting iOS to return to its former glory of iOS 15. But, iOS 27 is not even 70% polished as iOS 15 was. There’s so many little things and attention to details that iOS 15 had and iOS 27 simply doesn’t. Here’s a few examples: - When you picked up a call before the contact poster update in iOS 17, using the swipe gesture, the swipe indicator itself transitions into the red hang-up button. Smoothly. On iOS 27, there’s no such transition. It just happens. - On iOS 27, the Photos app is still very slow and janky in the Collections tab. It takes several seconds for everything to load. - Just look at the Safari below. It’s just so smooth, flowy, and animations are designed so well before the Liquid Glass update. iOS 27 Safari feels like a huge downgrade. I was expecting iOS 27 to work on these little details around the system that have been going away since iOS 16. But it didn’t.

This young lady was doing a pizza review out on the street, she was excited to try a new place and wanted to share with her followers. During her review a police car pulls up. She explains she’s just doing a pizza review but he tells her she should go home. Do you feel the officer saw a young lady on the street in a busy city at night and wanted to make sure she was safe by telling her to go home or did somebody report her for just eating pizza on the sidewalk?

in software, we're entering a new age of skyscrapers: rather than a small group of humans hand-typing code into a computer, software is now built by thousands of humans and agents working together to build applications at a scale that was previously unthinkable. the unsung heroes of this new era are infrastructure engineers. they are the people who are figuring out how to make software with 100x the amount of code, and 1000x the amount of contributors actually work OpenAI is one of the few companies already operating at this scale so we Every 📧 spent a few days deep inside of the company to learn how their infrastructure team thinks about building software skyscrapers—and how they use agents to do it one of the most important articles we've written this year:

I know many people have seen this video but I’d like to break it down a bit. I found this interesting for the timeline I’ve been putting together. Many of you have seen it. I’ll publish it again soon updated. Mark met Candace before she was anyone at TPUsa? Back in early 2017 at a TPUsa event? This is when she started doing her YouTube videos that took off. Was she stalking conservative events and high profile people to get into the circle? Did she stalk Charlie for months at events? Interesting. I remember her talking once about running around a TPUsa event handing out her cards to people so they’d know who she was. And then when Mark met her he offered to help her financially by giving her 1k a month for her bills. By just meeting her at an event? Because he was impressed with her. And thought she had potential. And she wasn’t a TpUSA employee? She’s good at manipulating for sure then. Then Charlie hires her at TPUsa in November about 6 months later then when Mark met her. That seems to be when she sent Mark the vile text saying she didn’t want to ever talk to him again with no explanation. I think it’s because she didn’t need him anymore. She succeeded in getting Charlie to hire her. It lines up. Then he says Charlie and him are hunting while the Kanye blowup is going on. So it’s really early in the Candace saga when Charlie says he needs to apologize for something. That people don’t change meaning Candace. That was Oct 2018. He says on that trip it was obvious Candace and Charlie had issues. Remember Candace was fired in May of 2019 from TPUsa. So Candace was being vicious from the beginning? I bet she was the one blowing up his phone in this clip. I wonder how long after Charlie hired Candace he regretted it. I bet immediately but he had her sign a contract the day he met her so he was locked in. My question is all this is was she stalking TPUsa events to get hired before Dave Rubin introduced Charle and Candace? Dave met her in early 2017 too. Mark says he tried to warn PragerU and DW about her. And that PragerU ended ugly. Why would these companies hire her after they saw what she had done at TPUsa. That will always confuse me. No matter how popular someone is if your friends are telling you she’s psychotic why would you invite that in? Just thinking out loud. So she’s made enemies with Dave, Mark, Dennis, Jeremy, Andrew, Blake, Mikey and everyone that she’s come into contact with. They all say she’s psycho. But she’s not the problem? Anyone see a pattern? Common denominator?

every action has consequences and yes when Daou is cutely possessive over Offroad we all love it but this reaction reminded me that more than once and in similar events people grabbed Offroad in the most disrespectful way and we all remember how upset Daou was - to me his first concern was probably that someone was going to grab Offroad again 😔 imagine how this impacted them and one rotten apple is enough this is why is so important to be mindful when interacting with idols but after the first reaction they were all smiles so I am sure everyone there did their best and I hope you had the best time ♥️
