They made those plays in the biggest moments of the game because prime time players, make prime time plays in prime time moments. Deion Sanders is Prime Time and his influence rubs off on his entire program. A lot of people wondered why Colorado’s fans rushed the field after beating a 2-1 Baylor team. They rushed the field because they know what it was like before Coach Prime and his Louis luggage showed up. There were no season ticket sell outs since 1996. With Deion, season tickets are sold out for the second straight year. School applications are up 20% with a 50.5% increase in Black student applicants. Colorado made $113.2 million from its 2023 home games alone, which led to a 51% increase in revenue through media rights with Coach Prime at the helm. Before Coach Prime, no one searched for a Colorado game. Last year alone Colorado averaged 7.2 Million viewers per game, with 5 games ranked in the 25 most watched college Football games of the year. However, his biggest accomplishment isn’t making the Colorado Buffaloes relevant again. His biggest accomplishment is empowering the young men in his program to believe in themselves, trust God and rejuvenating an entire city in the face of massive push back against his style. Deion Sanders took 2 HBCU football players in Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter and helped coach them into 2 of the best players in the country who are both in the Heisman race. Took multiple HBCU football players and helped coach them into high level Power 5 starters who have NFL futures. You see the thing about Coach Deion Sanders is he is just as misunderstood as he was as a player. With him, you earn what you get and every single player in his program knows that. On a deeper level, watching him coach his son’s is inspirational. What Deion and Lebron have done for their families and their son’s should be celebrated. As fathers they weren’t just there, they were active. They didn’t just have the title of baby daddy, they are fathers. Black Fatherhood has long been mischaracterized as absent and negative. It’s amazing to see Black Fatherhood today on the highest levels be characterized as present and supportive.

I hereby continue with my campaign and here is day 4 of trying to convince Manchester City to sign Anis Hadj Moussa. Now, let's talk about him (informal scouting report), a player I have been hyping for days and who, I believe provides us the perfect balance of instant impact and upside potential. According to what I have seen, he profiles as an explosive, direct attacker with elite one-versus-one dribbling ability and a strong goalscoring threat from wide areas. His game is built around carrying the ball into dangerous positions, cutting inside onto his stronger left foot, and either shooting or creating chances for teammates. Does that sound familiar to my fellow City fans? Playing Style and Tactical Role: - Functions best as a right-sided inside forward in possession-based systems that allow him freedom to drift infield and attack spaces between the lines. - When receiving the ball in the final third, his first instincts are typically to drive forward with dribbles or look for shooting opportunities. - One thing to note is that his progressive carrying is exceptional, ranking in the 93rd percentile among comparable wingers, which makes him an effective ball-progressor from wide areas. - While primarily a goal threat, he also ranks above average for progressive passes and dangerous passes, indicating he can link play and provide for teammates, though this remains a secondary skill compared to his dribbling and shooting. He is ideally suited to possession-based systems that value direct attacking play (vertical patterns) and can benefit from his ability to break down low-block defenses (should I talk further about low-blocks to a City fan, eh?) I believe that his primary areas for development lie in defensive work rate, pass completion in build-up phases, and tactical discipline when out of possession, however, he would be an amazing addition to our squad.

🕯️Remembering Michael Coleman, R.I.P 🕯️ Galway GAA are deeply saddened at the sudden and untimely passing of the former Galway Hurling Captain Michael Coleman of the Abbeyknockmoy HC Club. Michael represented Galway with distinction at Minor, Intermediate and Senior levels. He won an All-Ireland Under 21 Hurling title with Galway in 1983. He went on to play a starring role at midfield when Galway retained the All-Ireland Senior title against Tipperary in 1988. In an Intercounty career spanning over 10 years, Michael also won three National League Titles including captaining the winning Galway team in 1996. His contribution on the National stage was recognised by his selection on three All-Star hurling teams in 1989, 1990 and 1995. Michael also represented University College Galway in the Fitzgibbon Cup as well as being the star of the St. Jarlath's College team that narrowly lost the Connacht Senior B Post Primary Hurling Final in 1981. Michael took great pride in his club and was an important part of the Abbeyknockmoy team which won the Galway Senior Hurling Championship in 1988. When his playing days were over his commitment to the club was unwavering: serving as mentor, coach and officer over the years. Michael was also active within Báireoirí Na Gaillimhe, a group consisting of former Galway hurlers. Michael was coach with the Leitrim Senior Hurlers when they claimed the Lory Meagher Cup in 2019. Outside of the GAA, Michael was a committed community activist involving himself in many activities within the locality. He will be sorely missed by the Galway GAA community. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his wife Mary, daughter Sinead and son Dara, his extended family, the Abbeyknockmoy Hurling club and community at this incredibly difficult time. As a former NFL Scout, I find it VERY interesting that Shedeur Sanders “dirted” his final play of his Pro Day in the 2-Minute Drill instead of making the high pressure throw to the end-zone and risking missing it as his lasting impression. This is also why he took some of his sacks (and yardage losses for his team) instead of throwing the ball away at Colorado the past two seasons. I’ve never seen a quarterback more afraid of making a mistake. The fear of making a mistake is engrained in him (likely from an early age). It’s spray painted all over his game film and poetically, it’s exactly how his Pro Day ended with him bowing out instead of stepping into the moment. The fact he “shied away” from taking the shot in front of the league at the end is VERY telling to me. It’s the take away. Three other impressions of mine from his Pro Day: 1. Average overall looking “arm strength.” There was a “wobble” on a number of his throws and he put too much air under his deep passes. He could not drive the ball much at his indoor Pro Day at 5,430 feet altitude (Boulder Colorado). He “flashed” having “decent” arm strength on a few of his underneath throws but he clearly lacks “arm confidence” and the confidence in himself to drive the ball. 2. Average location placement overall. 3. Pats the ball pre-delivery which telegraphs to defensive backs when and where he’s throwing. There was nothing and I mean nothing special, elite or dominant looking at his Pro Day that was set up in absolute ideal conditions for him. He mostly made short throws and put too much air under his deep throws. I have an undraftable free agent grade on him. He’s a practice squad level talent with a Hall of Fame last name. My dream is to get a second chance in the NFL and on my resume, I am advising teams not to select him in rounds 1-7 in the 2025 NFL Draft. Video credit: NFL
