I've been using 80 height and -2 angle for about 6 months for this very reason 😄 Never looked into it tonnes, I just knew it felt easier for me to connect on flip resets

tbh, I'd personally find a bit of a jolt quite helpful just to know that I have a flip. coz even sometimes pros can't tell if they have a rest or not. Although, I wish Psyonix just added a way, similar to sideswipe, to tell if you have a flip or not.

Just like you mentioned at the end, I prefer to have the jolt because it “confirms” that you have the reset
