When you stake TAO to a subnet, you receive the subnet's tokens in return. The exchange rate is determined by the ratio between TAO and subnet tokens in the pool. The key mechanics are: - Pools start at a 1:64 ratio (TAO:subnet token) - More TAO staked = higher TAO emissions - Staking into subnet will increase the price - Unstaking from a subnet decreases the price - Low liquidity in the pools causes slippage! The APY can be 20~30x higher. For long-term investors, the risk becomes heavily diluted over time. That’s why we’re now at an ATH in $TAO staked across subnets. On top of that, the platforms surrounding the ecosystem are growing. More serious people are talking about $TAO and subnets on X and YT. Subnets are maturing. More relevant ones are emerging. All of that factors in. In the end, the math starts to make sense.
