🌀 Understanding Subnet Pools in Dynamic TAO Each subnet will have its own pool managing TAO and the subnet's token, creating a dynamic market-driven ecosystem, but how will those pools work? When you stake TAO to a subnet, you receive the subnet's tokens in return. The exchange rate is... show more

NOTE: Only the existing 64 subnets will start with a pool ratio of 1:64, while each later subnet will start with a higher ALPHA ratio, based on the amount of existing subnets.

Nice one guys 👌

Good work team.

Very concise and simple explanation that will be useful to many who are just starting to research $TAO!

cool! where's the market place for alpha tokens, is it a dex or something?

ALPHA tokens will be available to get through staking on the official bittensor wallet once Dynamic TAO goes live. Official Wallet: NOTE: There will be other third-party interfaces allowing to stake into subnets and get ALPHA tokens as well.

Nice post 👏

thanks for this! wondering: how do alpha tokens emitted to the subnet reserve (ALPHA in) and participants (ALPHA out) effect the "price" dynamics of the pool?

This is a great question, because it changed a lot in the last months, but with the latest and current design the price doesn't get affected by the emissions themselves. Only active operations like staking/unstaking changes the price of a subnet token, thus its value is decided purely by the market.

Tao or dtao for the subnets ;

Subnets will have their own tokens aka. dTAO/ALPHA
