WTFFF, this is absolutely insane 😳 i replaced my $200/mo Claude plan for deepseek harness and it costs nothing deepseek dropped their agent harness 2 days ago. 99.7K stars already everything is a plugin. MIT. FREE and you can run it for $0; free models, no credit card here is how you set it up: 1. install node.js 2. run npx deepseek-ai/dsh web 3. open 4. settings → add custom provider → free model (any free model provider) done. full agent harness for $0 dev preview, expect breaking changes try it before they add upgrades

Every request Claude Code would send to Anthropic gets quietly rerouted to a free model on the other side. The interface stays the same. What’s actually thinking behind it changes. Setup takes a couple of quick commands and a free API key from NVIDIA NIM or OpenRouter. Paste it into the local dashboard, pick a model, and you’re building. deepseek v4.1 flash vs secret model tested both with the same prompt at the highest reasoning available > v4.1 flash took 2 hours to finish both tests and cost $2.60 > secret model finished both in 30 minutes, can’t reveal cost yet v4.1 flash spent a lot of time overthinking and running random tests, which slowed it down thanks AIHubmix for providing api access so i could test v4.1 flash hoping that team will cut down the overthinking before the full release, but for now here are the results which model did better here?
