Murray’s defender can fight over the screen to prevent him from taking clean 3s. He’s making only 22% of his 3s in the series. And since Rudy Gobert is in the paint, Murray has nowhere to drive. He’s making only 31% of his shots in the paint with Jokić on the floor, down from 56% during the season. Jokić and Murray are generating only 0.96 points per handoff, and only 0.93 points per pick-and-roll — their worst since 2018-19 against the Spurs. That was their first playoff series together.

DUSTY MAY is the most underrated/unassuming coach in the country, imo. Love his story, and love the way his teams play. Michigan’s holds opponents to 30% from 3, while simulateously averaging 6.1 blocks per game (2nd in the country). It’s very rare that teams BOTH protect the rim AND guard the 3 ball at elite levels. The icing on the cake is they have the best or second best offense in the country, in virtually every metric. Guards look to blow up ball screens vs always relying on coverage. If they get screened, their peel switching is always crisp. It’s loud, it’s active; elite level film to study.👇🏼

That doesn't sound that bad, but that's solidly in recession territory (again) - anything under 53 is big trouble. Employment is contracting at a solid pace (echoing all the labor data). And services are trying their best to create "tariff inflation" but the reason they can't is in the first paragraph above - raise prices, Americans can't afford it, they stop showing up and volume falls off. It's a lose-lose economy, which perfectly explains why the labor market is in such big trouble.
